Late Spec Seats (Shape/Bolsters) Same As Early spec?
colinstubbs replied to V33DUB's topic in Interior
They all look the same to me mate. Tip levers and side trim are different but the bolsters look indentical. Culled from another thread - Driver's right hand Bolster No. 535-881-378b - don't know if still available, should hope they are!! -
'Powerful' 'fast'

That kit doesn't look like it's very waterproof, bearing in mind the corrado has a wet door set-up.

The bloke needs a camera with a decent macro option!!!

Chap in the petrol station yesterday in a new(ish? chershed plate)) BMW commented on how corrados deservingly get a lot of attention because you don't see many about 8) . Complimented me on it and said he used to have an E38 but it was too much for a daily, but still regreted loosing it!! Told me to stick with it  Last week I was fiddling inside the C an over heard a dad saying to his young lad, " Yes it is a nice car, you don't see many of them around now" Can't have been my wife's blown up Corsa or the neighbours Peugeot Partner they were talking about!!!!!

They'll still rust if you don't use them you something expensive like Black Diamond that have a coating on them. Someone else will have a better idea than me  -

Some people dislike them on here but if you don't drive loony fast in a heavily modded C you shouldn't have any probs with them, just fitted my second set of fronts - no worries! Pagid fast road pads still on there at the mo but I'll prob go EBC greenstuff next. I've Zim drilled sport discs on the rear too with pagid FR pads and all works fine. 8) -
Mine is a G-plate Mar '90 and it has the top pads with the middle spring thing, If you look through your wheels at the calipers you should be able to see the spring bit through a gap in the middle of the top of the caliper. 8)

They've probably stopped doing these kits as the MK3 golf heater matrix (with pressure relief as I understand it) has superceded the original Corrado matrix. Try putting a post in the wanted section, people are breaking stuff all the time so you should get sorted

Headlamp lenses should still be available from the stealers. Fogs are a complete unit although some peps have sourced lenses from the US i think and then attacked them with a heatgun and lots of patience to swap them. Search the parts forum?

With the reheat I trust? 8) As near as you'd get to FI on it!! If we're being a bit silly howabout whatever drives the TARDIS!!! :norty: That'll get you places in a ridiculus time-frame!!

2 'identical' MOTs - one pass, one failure
colinstubbs replied to Neil VR6's topic in General Car Chat
I think that really sucks and my C doesn't even have a cat. Sorry, bad wording! What I meant was if your car is supposed to have a cat fitted (i.e. Post 93) then it must be a "type approved" one. A lot of cheap chinese copies, euro carparts / GSF crap and some 'sport' cats aren't type approved and the Ministry Of Transport are thinking of clamping down on them. I can see their point as some cats are completely schitt and don't do what they're supposed to (convert hydrocarbons and Carbon monoxide to water and carbon dioxide) and it's mainly users of cheap and ineffective 'sport' cats that they are targetting I suspect. Don't worry, cars that don't require a car ( No I got what you meant first time Kev  . I just meant that even though it won't affect me at all it could be a bit harsh if they get really anal about it for the rest of you chaps! What's the chances of that happening :gag:  -
About 18cm wide at the top, 15cm at the bottom, 10cm high and 17cm deep. Be aware the sides taper from top to bottom on both sides AND front to back so there's quite a bit less room at the rear.

Well I guess you should use Something like that to reduce it happening. It's dead easy to use and you won't get tempted to go over budget. If yours is the second highest bid you'll only be loosing by pence or a quid each time anyhow no matter how much the other person has slapped on!!

I'd just get it tightened again.

Sorry I meant glue-gun the sun-roof not the headliner - with the sunroof trim the material is stretched and then stuck on so if it comes off it's a right tw@t to re-attach nicely. If you can glue gun round the edges it's a lot less likely to peel off in the first place.
