  1. That's strange cos if you have your foglights on and the visibility is better than 300feet :camp: it's an offence & the rozzers can pull you   !!! Sounds like a bl00dy stupid idea to have them do that...but then I am BIASED!! :hitler: 8)

Sounds like you need to disconnect the Dim-dip resistor located in the front of the left wing yellow and black wire IIRC This was originally to boost the crappy side lights by putting the dipped beam on at reduced power. If you actually mean the full beam is coming on I'm afraid I can't help you.
  3. The reason people hate the led side lights is all the knobs in Audis that drive round with them on unnecessarily. :camp: :camp: 'Oh look my car's got leds!' :camp: :camp: Side lights are for parking at the side of the road, if you're driving and you need lights on you should have your dipped beam on - period :bad-words: :mad2: Rant over - don't get me started on fecking foglight mis-use. :censored: :censored:
  4. Try the windows with the drivers door open - if they work from the drivers sw with open door it's fuse 16 IIRC, weird wiring set-up sorry if you've tried this already!!
  5. Ha ha money to burn?? Had mine 12+years, bought it with the set on it now and the originals, bought a set of g60 bbs for the tyres. No competion really eh?!!!! You loony!!
  6. Also try http://www.carleatherdye.co.uk/leatherdye.htm
  7. The point I was making was the chap in question had no say in the cost of the repair because it was done through his insurance, and so slagging him off as having "money to burn and/or little sense" as if he'd just agreed to the repair without an idea of cost was fairly pointless.
  8. To be fair there were sensible comments on there from members who've obviously been there a while and couldn't really give a sh!t what model people have as long as it's a GT-R badged one, that's the forum afterall! Some very excitable Knobs on there too though! :camp:
  9. If you read the posts he had the work covered by his insurance - that's what it's for afterall  The thread does mention the ECU in question is purely for deploying the bonnet-pop safety system, in the same way as an Airbag controller is one shot  It's all a bit b!oody expensive though eh? :gag:
  10. Pm JMC He's done a few of these. (Edit: ........with EL strips colours etc!)
  11. why not using a bottle of water? Because it didn't leak with copious bottles of water - annoyingly!! There is a small seam-looking bit in the sunroof tray that looked a bit tatty so i smeared that with vaseline maybe I've fixed it  Yeh right!! We'll see on friday when it's s'posed to p!ss it down!!!! 8)
  12. Sussed the water dripping from my passenger A-pillar is not due to a blocked sunroof drain. Need it to rain hard again to see if it's the screen seal leaking or another bit of the sunroof
  13. Not disputing this at all - but what the hell stops them getting blown out then? How tight a fit are they?
  14. Personally I'd be quite happy with Button and Hamilton both at Maclaren - be interesting for sure 8)
  15. Or it seems a recovery company who give a Rat's Ass about his car, dragging it in Gear and wiping muddy hands all over the insides! It actually looks like they just wrapped a chain through the rear left wheel :nono:  To be fair it is fooked well and truely so that's the least of the problems :(
  16. In the 12+ years I've had my C I've only ever had a condensation problem when I've had a leak.
  17. As do turtle wax! car must be clean though!!!
  18. Noticed this morning mine has been dripping alot from the passenger A-pillar rear edge, I'm guessing the sunroof drain is blocked - AR$E!!!! :mad2: :censored: :bad-words:
  19. Looking at 190,000 in the next few weeks, got the engine flush, oil etc waiting!! 8) This was 25 Oct 2009, I'm currently on 189,665 miles. 8) 25102009590.jpg[/attachment:3ddxwf7t]
  20. Sorry to hear that mate. Best thing to do to the Corrado is smother it in wax and waxoyl for the winter, beats watching it rot  Chin up mate it'll get better things always do!! 8)
  21. Another rear wash wipe leak point is a pipe connection up behind the left C-pillar this can some times work loose and be a real pain in the ar$e - you have to remove the shelf support etc to get to it.
