Its made by Bebe Confort and I'm pretty sure the model is Iseos TT, as tilt and moving sides. I am fairly sure it was a Group 1, so can be used from 9 months when they can support their head to my knowledge, we had a carry cot style seat for the early days - but wouldn't go in the rado. I'm no expert, but we've had a few child seats now and now I'm back at square one with another child due in June so have been looking for birth ones again... you have one on the way Walesy? The best way is to go somewhere with a good range to try out (I don't know of any near babylon, but kiddicare is good), with an expert on hand as some are not obvious to fit at first. The 'bucket' style of the rear seats in the corrado makes some baby seats unsuitable. But there are now devices to help level it out...caution required as seats and the belts need certain angles to be effective in an accident so best to consult. Also, some require more width than is offered in a single rear seat in the rado too. I suppose as well it depends if you want something that fits on a push chair aswell. I am going to try a maxi-cosi baby carrier in mine soon as it will go on a push chair. In the rare event that both baby and child will be in the rado I think I will struggle fitting any thing rear facing behind me driving..time will tell. Enough of this talk, where is that forced induction thread rrraaa, bhp, rarrr, boost.. ;-) oh, and that 'little-one' is now to blame for the 'corrado-for' sticker in the side window!

Removed post, should have used the suspension thread which is where I have now posted. :-)

Glad you like the plate, going to get a german one made with the stamps between the N and 5, think it will look great for 'shows' of course. I've heard there are a some self healing laquers in the pipeline, but I guess they'll be uber expensive. With this one the finish is glass like, as you can see hardly any paint colour shows in the reflection. -

Update: Went for a quick look at how the respray was going today, It was so good I was god smacked and had to hold back on emotion :notworthy: By the end of the week it should be ready for some reassembly to begin.. passat climatronic wiring diags.pdfDSC01155.JPG[/attachment:2q8ufq12] climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfDSC01156.JPG[/attachment:2q8ufq12] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfDSC01162.JPG[/attachment:2q8ufq12] DSC01163.JPG[/attachment:2q8ufq12] Again, sorry about the pants pics, I was stuggling with either flash reflections or booth lighting reflections and I caught them in the middle of polishing hence the dust. Oh, stormchargedvr6, I had a very quick nose around the room, its sealed, with some sort of extractor venting, sealed lighting above and there is heating elements too. -
IIRC those evening sessions are 'while there is good light' even in the winter day sessions they are timed with the daylight. Also to keep an eye on is if they are sessioned or open pit lane. The well booked events tend to be sessioned, that is somthing like 3 groups, 20min each rotated. Which is enough for most (well, most std cars :) ) Opened is just free for all, sometimes resulting in a track to yourself! I'd check out how many drivers/cars the event is allowing too, less the better :-) Depending on when it is, I might be up for Silverstone.

 My car had suffered with the mainly motorway miles with a peppering on the front from little stone chips, after discussing the option of the additive to make the paint softer/elastic at the front they suggested the hard option as their prefered solution. I heard that it cures so hard that you only have a short time to polish it before its too hard! Time will tell I guess... -

As I said, I didn't pay too much attention to the booth, I'll look next time I go up. They have a rado up there which they sprayed many many years ago, it still looks great now, but I'll ask about heat and paint type when I go up to satisfy the critics :? Mk1, you saying I don't care about my car a waste of money then if I intend not to put through a car wash? -
Last year it looked like someone from Motor Sport Vision was going to put a deal together, but the thread kind of died.. http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?f=17&t=42668&st=0&sk=t&sd=a MSV have a good choice of tracks and they might be better prepared to do a custom meeting than somewhere like Silverstone. Who is organising the forum ring trip.. i might be interested.

I didn't study the booth too much, but I did notice it was totally sealed and lighting was behind shields so I would assume its where is baked too but don't know for sure. The laquer is apparently quite a new product that they've just started using I think, all I can say is I've seen the quality of work they've done and its very impressive. -
Good find 8) , I must though point out their great range of Sex Collection for the corrado... or at least thats what google makes of the russian.. http://209.85.135.104/translate_c?hl=en&langpair=ru%7Cen&u=http://www.avtoshop.net/vw.php%3Fmdl%3D076%26grp%3D8 They even have sex luggage for the corrado.. I'll get my coat.

Well, after a bit of a delay in getting started the project is well underway. Its in the early stages of being painted, so far the body has been prepared and looking great. Couple of hidden little bits of rust were discovered (under O/S wing, rear bumper and filler cap) and have all been repaired. Extremely pleased with how its looking and you can tell they are taking time to get it right. The pictures here show it with a guide coat of primer hence the mottled effect, its currently being flatted down. Looks like about another week before its all primed and ready to go back to Mystic Blue. I've decided to upgrade on the Laquer to an anti-scratch type, its will be another £300 on the bill but should resist the majority of stone chips. Jury is still out on the Coilover choices, KW Variant 1s or GAZ are top two at the moment on my list (subject to change). Volkskraft have recommended a Cat Bypass too, which may be added to the list. Well, here are they pics, (i'm no pro photographer) :D passat climatronic wiring diags.pdfStorm in primer 1.jpg[/attachment:xk1i1oen] climatronic wiring-Golf from May 01.pdfStorm in primer 2.jpg[/attachment:xk1i1oen] 2.8l 24v Climatronic system.pdfStorm in primer 3.jpg[/attachment:xk1i1oen] Storm in primer 4.jpg[/attachment:xk1i1oen] -

Updated the plan slightly...project was postponed but is going tomorrow for work to start. -Sourced some wing mirror glass, DDI, but its only curved on the drivers side.. -Oil Cooler, pretty sure I will go for a 235mm 16 row as I don't intend to up the power at the moment I don't think I need any bigger -Added GAZ coilovers to my short list, just awaiting a quote. -Decided against going Graphite on the RCs at the moment. -For the head unit I think I'll go for the Pioneer DEH-P65BT and get the ipod adpater at some point, the model up has ipod built in but I'm not keen on the bright blue illumination. Not going to put in better speaker cable at this time as on the theroy of weakest link i've got to connect it to the tiny wires need the ISO connector at some point. -Due to the delay the MOT was done, ABS sensors sorted and new P7000s put on. -Getting a serious case of 'feature creep' on the shopping list, started adding more and more trim and new badges etc. Just sorting out part numbers now for various parts, is there an easy way to do this? I'm planning on talking to a coiuple of VAG parts suppliers to see what deal I can get. -
Looking for a post about a wing mirrors...

Spot on, perhaps it is also worth considering a GB with the 'closer text' deleted if possible. -
Would there be any risk of over cooling with a 19 row on a standard VR do you think? Sometimes lead footed but often stuck in traffic and the temps do climb quickly.
-
Looks perfect and I'd like to do the same too, I was just wondering what size the cooler is?
-
Rebuilding a large hole the footwell of a mini with wire mesh and bridging compound, looked great but if you ran your fingers along inside and out you'd realise that it was inch thick in places. As will all sins on the mini I kept a large can of underseal handy to cover them up.

I'm posting in general because I'm searching for a post and not wanting to start a new thread thats been talked to death. I need new wing mirror glass and I am sure (though I've had flu) that a few days ago (maybe more) I read a post about someone finding a supplier of mirrors that have a blindspot curve on them? Am I imagining I have seen this post in a delusional fevered way and I am going to have to be stuffed by a dealer (vag/tvr/McL ;-))?? Does anyone else recall such a comment being made? Cheers.

Most tempting and I will have a think about it. What I need to consider is a cleaner install method though. Cheers. -
I'm wondering if anyone has ever run a Corrado VR6 on LPG? or indeed would like to hear from anyone with advice or warnings. Is the installation reversible? is there any major mods done for the install? is it really safe? Does it effect the life on the engine/components? Does it limit you to only ever running a std map? Any advice warmly welcomed.

It was more of where to put an amp out of the way without trashing trim, I have considered modding the cubby hole passengers side if I got a replacement part - don't want to be without a clean part of trim. How much are you looking for the amps? -

:-D Most the work will be done by Volkskraft as I would never ever have the time, I will chip in with um..money and a few bits like the ICE. I've been trying to plan a respray for several years and always been too busy to arrange anything must just get on with it this time. Volkskraft will have the car for about 2 months :-) -

I’m planning on a winter project for my Storm and I plan to share thoughts and progress here on the forum. My plan is primarily around a full respray but I want to make do a couple of other jobs along the way. As you can see in the earlier pictures in this thread it’s not a bad looking car but there are too many stone chips and odd blemishes now to make a good job of ‘repairing’ the paint to a standard I would be over the moon with. I want to keep the car as standard as possible and any changes must be reversible. As this may be my daily drive (that said I'm not very good at having just one car ;-)) for a good 12k a year I want to make enhancements like better ICE and a cup holder ;-) I’m also expecting that given the mileage 94K and age that it may be a good opportunity to do some other work too. Here is my plan, its work in progress so I’ll keep revisiting as I make decisions and find answers to questions I have – sorry it’s a bit of a brain dump! Exterior Full re-spray Glass, doors, boot, bonnet and so on to be removed.[/*:m:3mjk94vs] I’ve heard of people changing the paint mix to be softer on the front to assist with preventing stone chips, need to find out more.[/*:m:3mjk94vs] Not going to put door rub strips back on straight away. Full width scuttle – possibility – Details TBC New trim/fixtures Roof strips[/*:m:3mjk94vs] Aerial - repair kit and new whip required - £27.64 from VAGParts[/*:m:3mjk94vs] German style plates, possbily a Osnabruk surround[/*:m:3mjk94vs] Headlight covers[/*:m:3mjk94vs] Others TBC[/*:m:3mjk94vs] Wing Mirrors Glass needs replacing, ideally tinted, blind spot curve – Looks like DDI is the place to get these[/*:m:3mjk94vs] Engine Chains & Tensioner due? Oil Cooler – 235mm 16 row. Detailing, Polished goodies and new fixings where required. Clutch – Never been happy with it from 35,000 miles recently there is a little juddering. Suspension H&R (the std Comfort coil overs) – Or KW V1s, GAZ - similar Lowered a little to give an even space around the arch. New Top mounts and Bump Stops – Details TBC Eibach ARBs - Possibly Wheels & Tyres 17” BBS RCs Refurbished ICE Good powerful head unit – don’t want an amp, integrated Bluetooth handsfree, possibly iPod integration – Looking like the Pioneer DEH-P65BT with an ipod adapter. Components in font – JBLs Standard size replacements in rear of some sort – Details TBC Possibilities Slight tint to windows like found on some new VAGs – not sure if it would look too non-OEM Cup Holder! Remap 312 Brakes – Not sure I am ready for this as I want to see what the daily drive of 17s and lowered is like first. LPG Conversion – need to research Centre brakelight, something that looks OEM - but not the stateside solution Other: Full Service 4 Wheel Alignment Time for some research... any comments welcomed. -
Was only occasionally using the Storm, sometimes wouldn't move for 6 weeks until recently as I have decided just to enjoy driving it. Its going to be off the road for the next 2 months or so to be stripped and resprayed, after that I will probably use it daily and ditch the Leon. Used to be concerned about the mileage, but then I am not sure why anymore. Running costs are not directly proportional to its amount of use IMO and while a future classic it maybe its never going to be worth more in £ with low mileage than the pleasure gained from 1000's of miles driven every year :-D

I will be up for a set of spacers and bolts if you still have them? Thanks
