Yep, that fits Yandards. Mine was first registered on 01/01/90, it's got an analogue odemeter and keep fit windows - electric sunroof though. At some point in it's life it was converted to run on elec windows - same as Jay Renshaw's paint shop bud who had the nice flip painted 16v last year. (the LPG conversion that got written off :( ) Mine was quartz metallic - LD7U (or LD7Y - it's too early in the day to remember) gradeAfailure will testify how much of a pain the arse those after market windows were too! :lol:

Yeah, whats the deal with Sacha's rado? That was most awesome. Topic in question, the colour is superb - right up there with Toffeerado's. As for the doors, there's only been one other car I've seen them work on and that was a MK1 golf from way back when. But each to their own as they say, if it was mine I'd have plain old boring doors. :)

I got mine off flea-bay last year, however can't find them on there now. Bummer.

Dave, sorry matey just got your text - have been stuck in frickin' meetings all morning. Bad news on the 'rat, it'd be a shame to see it broken knowing what effort you've put into it already. If you had the time/money/desire I'd keep it and work on it as a project. A spare beam to work on must be easy enough to come by, and the head swap isn't too much of a drama... Either way, sorry to hear about your bad news :(

Some tube decided to replace the battery in the fob today, aaaand now it's not working any more. Grr. Does anyone have the instruction manual for their alarm kicking around that could post me up the procdedure? Thanks in advance randal. :D

I used to run Infinity 10cm's in the dash, but there were a bit cosy and I didn't want to modify the speaker cover too much to get them to fit ok. Now running JBL components straight off the HU to fill out the sound. Too lazy to amp em' :D

Fair ol' bit of work involved, afraid it's not just a case of dumping a charger on a 16V lump. Think the compression ratio is all wrong for starters. PM 16VG60 he's built a 16V G60 lump (no, really?). :D
