I agree the blacked inpros go well with the silver ..I wasn't really a fan of these before
-
-Neil-, don't take any offence mate- I love the sub housings but they seem to be let down by the parcel shelf - it looks a bit untidy..don't u think? Top marks for the work you put into the subs though
-
Did they explain WHY they were trying to break in that way? Obviously they were crap car thieves as well......
-
Regan Motors in Bournemouth - smells like a proper workshop and they like Corrados. PLUS they don't take cards - cool or what?

daves16v, did you get your paypal problem sorted yet - ? -
Just got a quote from the stealership for £220 for rear calipers only :-( I'll have to look for reconditioned calipers - best price thus far - £40+VAT each

blue VR6 Cardigan Rd, not far from Regan motors in Bournemouth. Very original. -
So what was the damage from the stealership for the new rear calipers?
-
You weren't complaining about my handling on Sunday! Oooer Matron! Well I was almost decided on 16s until Kev posted his comments and now I dont have a clue. Someone of his experience in alloys ( I believe he has owned all of them one time or another) simply cannot be ignored!! I suppose if I want a decent ride especially once lowered I should go for 16s....Hey Ho
-
the kit I bought was for a VR6 but if your calipers are the same, yes. I'm sure they do a kit for the G60. I bought mine from POTN 3 weeks ago for the VR for 240 all in......theyve since put their prices up : http://www.potn.co.uk/-_c2918_7522_7547_p1156913.htm I did see several places on the net selling the same kit for around 220-300 so have a good shop around.

number five is very easy to do and can be done for less than £30 and a drill
-
I'm in Bournemouth mate...the Brembo sports brake kit includes discs and pads only. You're thinking of the Brembo big brake kits for over a grand :-)
-
black diamond discs and pads are a good bet. Brembos (i know...I know) cost me 220 for discs and pad kit
-
Paul, are those FK smoked rears?
-
so dya reckon a lowered car is better on 16s rather than 17s?
-
I cant' decide which looks better on the Corrado - 16 or 17 inch alloys, Im trying to gauge the look on a lowered car but don't want too much of a 'wideboy' look What do you think suits the car better?
-
I think the eyebrow spoiler looks good with the inpros
-
Gotta similar problem meself - chipped right through to bare metal - bloody gritters no doubt....how much do these chipsaway people charge then? EDIT: contacted them via email - they got back to me fairly quickly - but were honest enough to admit that for a proper job I need a respray £60 for touchup job
-
had a similar problem but at 4000rpm - many weeks later I found out the inside of one of the tyres was badly bubbled and blistered...its caused vibration throughout the car almost as though it was going to breakup
-
Wish I had known this earlier!!
