Mk4 R32 FTW! :) I had a Mk4 TDI 130. Chipped to 180, Miltek, Coilovers. Highline spec - so it had all the gadgets. Best car I've every owned and I've had 5 Corrados. Only sold it as it was 3 door and Mike Jr came along. It's much nicer owning a newer VW. I think the build quality and comfort from the newer cars far surpass that offered by a Rado. But there is that unique factor of Corrado ownership and when everything works it really works well. I never had any random people come up to me in Tesco's car park and comment on my Mk4. But it's happened plenty of times as a Corrado owner. And they're only getting rarer. But since you already have a fun 2 seater and you need something practical and reliable, an Octavia would seem the logical choice. Great build quality and bang for buck. Surprised to hear that Mk5 Golfs rust. I thought all the post 2000 cars were galvanised?

I think though they will not actually buy it from you immediately. They will act as a broker and only give you that once they find a buyer. Try it and see. Otherwise, I would say £300 or maybe £350 for a direct sale with the buyer paying the transfer fees (around £80 iirc)

I'll take the MAF. PM me please. Need it posted to Germany.

Interested in the Red Rears. Do they come with yellow bulbs? Also, do you have the headlining and is it grey?
-
Did you make it outa there Ian? :)

G60 with 1.8 16v rims. Meh :) How's that for true Corrado Nerdness?. (I already have two Schabak 1:43 scales)

Always love to see that one. It just means it's broken someone elses heart before they sold it on!

Are these overkill? http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/speakers/component-systems/5-inch-comp-13cm/infinity-kappa-50-11cs-13cm-255w-components

I've an Alpine CDE-136BT DAB in mine http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/head-units/players-inc-ipod-control/alp-cde136bt-alpine-cde-136bt-dab Do you think that's powerful enough to drive the Infinities without an Amp? I also have a Stealth Shelf lying in my garage unused. So 6x9's with a quick release connection setup would be ideal. I think the standard rears are 6x4 and normally aftermarket speakers don't fit into the enclosures without a bit of fettling.

Focals it is! :)

I'm sure if I could speak German I'd be able to find somewhere :) Thanks for the details. I'll give them a call tomorrow. I'll post back the results.

Not so easy, being in Germany and all. At the weekend I bought a second hand Intercooler on UK eBay. This one also needs a recore and I'm going to get the seller to post it directly to a radiator specialist. Just need to find a specialist now. Any recommendations?

Not a Corrado related question. More a general car one. My Family wagon (Grand Vitara DDiS) has a buggered intercooler. Suzuki seem to be the sole supplier and are asking €510 for a new one. I've found another broken one on eBay for a tenner. Is it possible to have this re-cored? Any recommendations on where?

I've been walking over the bridge every lunchtime for a Warm Cider with Calvados and a Bratwurst. Cologne is great this time of year. :) -
Just order direct from that website. Saves on delivery.

lol. Well it looks like they've got them here in Deutschland.

I also Googled the part number and found this thread from VWHeritage! http://www.clubpolo.co.uk/forum/index.php?showtopic=324510

That's pretty much what I want to do with mine. I'm not into big sounds and fancy installs. I just want to "OEM Plus" the current setup. The old 1995 paper coned speakers aren't the greatest. So I'm thinking Focal or some other similar mid-budget components in the front and a small sub. But I don't want something that's going to take up too much room or slide around in the boot. I found this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/251332793080?lpid=83&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=83 Blitz Audio jobbie. Has anyone tried these? I'll get the install done professionally and have a bit of Dynamat sound deadening done too. It's a Storm so deserves the best! :)

Ok. Have a look here.. http://www.online-teile.com/vw About €40 each including VAT, excluding shipping. They say they're no longer made but they may be able to source them. Just key the part number into the search box. I've bought a few odd items from them in the past. Pricey but good.
-
Have you a part number? I can check in Germany. Assuming they're the same.
-
If it's very warm to the touch. Be careful.
-
They die and in some cases overheat and can catch fire due to a short.
-
Did they do another production run of Revell models? I see a whole bunch of Red ones on eBay.de for €50. IIRC the original run were all Black and Blue.http://tinyurl.com/ndojvas

Thanks chaps. Some good pointers there
