  1. Interested in a drivers door, drivers wing, and possibly the boot lid! any interior parts left?
  2. Still after one of these, folks! Can noone help?
  3. You'll be able to get it from any VW dealer. quite pricey though, around £5 for a wire (comes double ended)
  4. I've got a selection at work if postage from Veedubbed doesn't work out.
  5. what condition is the drivers door in? any chance of some pics?
  6. Howdy folks. I need a drivers door for my G60, rust and damage free - paintwork immaterial - I'll eventually get it resprayed but the odd scratch or stone chip I don't care about, but needs to be free of rust and hopefully not bent on any of the corners! Happy to swap over my own window glass, handle, lock etc so the cheaper the better please! Blue would be nice (Inca blue would be perfect!) but at the moment getting rid of the rot on my current door is top priority so I'll take whatever's available. Cheers, Dave.
  7. Thought it said Corrado Louvres and got excited for a minute there, shame!
  8. internal hex? get a torx bit or spline bit one size up and smack the ******* in. Had to do the same with the crank pulley bolts on my G60.
  9. Just driven past an ice violet? Maybe corrado with a bright purple bonnet on the A1077 in scunny. Anyone on here?
  10. connector on the steering column or at the fuseboard?
  11. Welp. good news and bad, managed to sort the wipers and sunroof and fan by just jiggling the fuseboard again with a friends help - took it down and checked all the connections on the back and they seemed fine. HOWEVER! the indicators have stopped working now! hazards work fine but the using the stalk does nothing. Bad relay? Bad stalk? Another lose connection?
  12. not used them, heard good things but I'd only trust JMR with my G-Lader - http://www.johnmitchellracing.co.uk/
  13. Right, managed to check relay 4 and it's latching/activating/clicking.
  14. That's just the information I wanted, thanks Sanky. I'll check when I'm next free (likely the weekend) but I don't recall any noises from the relay board when turning the key to acc. car starts fine, so hopefully it's just that I've managed to blow this relay somehow.
  15. Yeah, gonna give that a bash I reckon. any easy way to trace continuity?
  16. Yeah. I'd rather not though as funds are tight at the moment, just had to mot one of my other cars and do the cambelt on t'other. The thing that's stumping me is the sunroof not working as well. If it was just the wipers it'd be either the switch or the relay, but the sunroof whisky sharing a common fuse with the rear wiper is a separate switch to the wipers.
  17. Ok. Managed to get a spare few hours to check things. All the fuses are fine (in fact I've replaced them all, some were still the weird old original ones). All the relays are seated properly, none of the plugs on the back are unplugged or badly seated. There's no power to the front wiper motor, and there's no power to the wiper fuse (15A number 5). What now?
  18. try plugging them in the other way. LED's are polar.
  19. http://etka.cc/vw/part_single/catalog/vw/markt/RDW/modell/COR/year/1994/drive_standart/76/hg_ug/927/subcategory/215010/part_id/3688607/lang/e#sec_11 M6x18, apparently :)
  20. Standard fitment LED headlights aren't just the standard halogen headlamp units with LED bulbs in, they're specially designed for LED's, and usually use something close to TIR (Total Internal Reflection) in order to get the correct amount of light on the road. This is easiest to see on the Mk3 SEAT Leons - you can see that the full beam LED's actually point towards the rear of the car, then the reflectors in the headlamp bounce and shape the beam back towards the front.
