  1. Yeah I was just joking about this, obviously if it was an all car forum there would be an attraction of the usual BMW/Merc owners which wouldn't be a good thing. I shall try out the BMW magazine forum This forum really is very good!
  2. Thats funny! especially the Mrs comment!
  3. I think it would be excellent if the mods/Andi/etc would be able to make the Corrado forum into a knowledge base for more than just the C. My problem is trying to go onto BMW forums (for my new purchase) to find out answers for my problems. There are just so many, how can I put this correctly, Impolite, Unsophisticated Knob Jockeys I mean I expect to post up a problem and have Kev solve my problems in under 1 minute. Kev and gang aren't on Bimmerwerkz etc, they are full of American looney cases who are just plain annoying. So please, make an Audi section, a BMW section and maybe even a Porsche or Merc section and German this place up! Chow for now Neil
  4. Give John @ JMR a call, he is 16VG60 on the forum and will fit and supply the system for around £300 No offense but for the money these systems cost I would never buy a Janspeed or Jetex - I've had a Jetex on a mk3, Biggerbighugo had a janspeed on a mk2. Nasty things lol
  5. If you've got a VR already I would get the engine rebuilt and keep the character of the beast, there won't be many around with all these engine conversions going on! If you had a valver or a G60, I'd say throw in a R32 or 4motion lump in Otherwise sell your car and get one with a good engine, the cost should be cheaper
  6. Well done mate! Happy New Year also! So when is the MOT booked?
  7. 30 mins left! Then I can go! Those Rolls are rediculously large, they look so nice inside though. We had a Z4 M in today, can't really tell the difference between that and the 3.0L one except the badges and quad exhausts, should have flared the arches a bit more and put some stripes down them!
  8. Thought this was quite amusing, such a pointless day at work, doing nothing at all :-)
  9. I'm not sure if the seats come apart? I suppose the top part of the seat should be removable from the bottom?
  10. The drivers seat bolster closest to the door is quite worn and I would like to just get that one part of leather replaced, the seams are alot more obvious and easy to get to on the Beamer than the Corrado seats so should be possible. Just wondered if anyone could recommend somone and if there was a rough price estimate to go with it? Thanks for any suggestions! Neil
  11. The winding roads were from Houston to Texas along a desert probably
  12. Got to be a Touareg! They look so nice! or a Mystic Blue Corrado Storm with the optional lowering springs!
  13. The car has the lux pack so the interior is really nice! It's definitely not slow, actually it's very fast! The car has traction control so hopefully the back won't be coming out. I think the C felt quicker because of the noise on my old one, the 328 is so quiet. It accelerates better at higher speeds I think, much better gear box, but I think for hooning it around on summer days on country roads you can't beat a lowered VR6 on speedo's with a nice exhaust and all the windows down! :-)
  14. http://www.uptowncarsales.co.uk/GetDeal ... 1&pageid=1 Here we go, the 2nd from bottom Hi can I have the cheapest car you have! not bad for the lineup though
  15. I'll get some asap It's still on Autotrader for £5250 Boston Green 83k near London - J25 on M25 Can't get onto autotrader for some reason to post link it was from a sport car dealership selling M3's, Porsches etc
  16. I bought the 328i Sport! Biggerbighugo thrashed the pants of it before I did! the bugger! Was getting too much abuse about the Z4, couldn't do it... The 328 is so nice! full leather, digital climate control, bmw 6 disk changer and speaker upgrade, Mtech body kit, suspension and brakes, 17" BBS split rims with 225's at the front and 245's at the rear. So comfortable and quick to drive. I think the CVR6 was quicker but the Beamer is more effortless and you feel relaxed with no rattling what so ever. If I could I'd have both! Well actually I'd have a Storm and an E36 3.0L M3! I'm going to keep this one completely standard, it's too nice!
  17. Ben - lol I hope this 328 is as good as the pictures i've seen I will be interested to see how much those manifolds cost Joe
  18. Edited 01/05/06 Thought I would actually add some pictures and info to this thread of my E36 328i Sport I'm sure it's not to everyones taste, I'm quite tempted by a 944 Turbo/S2 or a 968 Club Sport or even a Storm! so this might be sale soonish It is a 1998 328i Sport, Boston Green on 88k with FBMWSH, it has from the factory: - Full climate control Avus Package Lux Pack 6 disk changer Under Warranty: - New calipers Steering Spindle New engine in 06/2000 (currently on 45k) Costs so far: - BBS refurbishment alternator and air con belts fog lights, never turned on but they still crack Wanted: - Some more power!
  19. cause I need to buy a house/flat... how about a mk4 gti - will you buy me one of those?
  20. I meant (for example) that the temperature will increase while I am driving at a steady 50mph or if I am in traffic and then as soon as it gets to 110 (traffic or driving) it will cool itself down to 80ish degrees That can't be normal usually driving makes it cooler than traffic, this golf makes no difference, just keeps altering the temp on the gauge from 75-110 constantly whatever I am doing?
  21. mine doesn't relate to whether I am in traffic/stand still or not. I can be going along the motorway and watching the temperature increase, then get to some traffic, it will go up to 110 degrees and then start dropping down to 80? weird car
