No offense mate but 106,000 miles for £6K? My mate has a dark red 3 door TDI 115 for sale at £6,200 with about 60k on it and a load of extras. It's on the trader in Guildford, if you want to cancel last minute I'm sure you'd like this one

I'll say it again 968 Club Sport. Actually i'm loving the VR get a VR6! This is a Corrado forum after all If you want something for wacking the miles on may I suggest a 95-98 BMW E36 328i Sport. The Leon is a tractor and the Merc will receive more scratches then womens boxing!

Speedlines!

My Bad..... It's scared of the outdoors especially tarmac.....
-
Thats why I put the dots after bumhole.... I love the Porker rims! i just like the RC's also - you know I was thinking of getting RC's before I got the RS's. I think it is the ride height that looks so menacing though not really the wheels. However you need to be able to drive the thing! Can you get RC splits?
-
LMFAO! I can't believe I said that.... I love that pic of your car with the RC's on so low!
-
I'd like some smaller versions that fit under 15's they look so pretty! Amazing looking car! Good Stuff!
-
I really can't wait to have GAY removed! I have been trying to sell my plate to the valuations section on the reg sites - know one wants it??? I might get a £5 for it on ebay..... I think L666 COR is pretty cool!
-
Ben - Just waiting for the documents to arrive. I need to send them my V5, a copy of my Tax disk, MOT and a utility bill. I just found V6 COR for £1250 but that can only be registered on V plates and newer. L666 COR is quite cool though as I'm keeping the age. THE DEVILS CORRADO! lol

John at JMR really likes the Dunlop Sports and I've heard alot of good things about the 720's. I'm just deciding which to have refurbed - Solitudes or Speedlines, the summer set will have the better tyres on.

The 15's are definitely the best and I didn't exactly have a shabby set up before (17"RS's + Michelin Pilot Sports at the back and Goodyear F1's at the front and FK Konigsports) It's the acceleration and the cornering especially on dodgy country roads. No they don't do ZZ3's at that size, they are one down from that, ZV3 I think, I got them fitted and balanced for £50 each as they were through BMW should be £78 each just for the tyres. I've just had the rear axle bushes done recently also and the handling is amazing you can really feel the difference pushing it around the corners. I think P6000 were standard on the VR's but they are just so awful from what I remember on my 3 series which ended up in a crash barrier....

Ooooh what did I buy today with my no money..... A new number plate! It will no longer say GAY you buggers! L666COR - How cool! £350 including Government fees etc! L405CAY will be up for sale if anyone wants it...... Just spent too much money having new disks and pads all round and new Avon tyres. I'm still loving it on the speedlines just need to get them refurbed! Taking my car to my mate at Barons BMW this weekend to do a full fluid change - anyone know how often gear box oil needs replacing? Just done the oil, going to do the Coolant tomorrow, bought a load of G12+ but my mate says there BMW stuff is on tap - does it matter what you use? Got me a Sony MP3 player also, just need some nice speakers now, have infinity's in the door and standard in the dash and rear - can anyone recommend some good standard size ones? This car makes me so happy when everything is good!
-
Anyone seen a VR with these on? I take it the center caps could be switched and they are 5 x 100 so should fit right? Hmmmmm..... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... 14009&rd=1

Fitting new Aerial - Whats the easiest way?
biggerbigneil replied to biggerbigneil's topic in Exterior
Ah, that was easier than I thought, you do need two people however which I didn't so placed a towel over the aerial base and a bag of sand over for weight - took a bit of faffing but got there in the end! -
Whats this forums opinion on the S2000?

chrishills silver vr6 - the wheels are on!

Lovely looking motor! Those Speedlines look brand new, need to get mine refurbed! Looks amazing in that colour dropped on the 15's! Thats how I've left mine, amazing handling - god knows why they didn't bring the car out lower from factory, I think they look so stupid at factory height, doesn't really look like a sports car at that height -
Dinkus - I think it's the other way around, when the axle bushes go they just go solid into some sort of "gunk" so you have no passive stear - I Think!

After the C.... what would you have?
biggerbigneil replied to biggerbigneil's topic in General Car Chat
Ben - True the RX7 is very tasty, I just don't want to have to rebuild the engine every couple of years - fine if you can do it yourself as the rebuild kit is only £400 but £3000 to get a garage to do it. Just my opinion though, if a Impreza, Evo or Skyline were not quick they would be nothing as they are not attractive cars. I know that sounds strange but if a Corrado, 944 or something similar was slow I would still think they were atleast nice to look at. There is no doubt the Skyline is an animal but it has no class or stlye in my opinion - I'd still happily drive one but for the money would rather have a 968 Club Sport, and spend the extra putting the Turbo S body kit on, Split Rims, and put the 944 Turbo head on and Turbo it! About 15k in total including the car and you have 340-380 HP and Porsche looks and the badge! -

After the C.... what would you have?
biggerbigneil replied to biggerbigneil's topic in General Car Chat
Yeah thats true, have to make sure it's not an automatic also! -
My bee-sting aerial base looks like it has seen better days so I have purchased a new one. I'm told the whole roof lining does not need to be removed as you can just pull the back down by the boot and get your hand in to remove one bolt and replace the system. Now I have no idea how to get at this at all without removing everything? Any ideas? What do I remove as I don't want to break anything?

No takers on the Aston V8?! I'm pretty sure I wouldn't go Jap - lots of power but no style/elegance - can't explain it really I just see saloons with alot of power and too much electrical rubbish! Being realistic a 968/E30 M3 can be had for around 12k for a nice one. There is a good article about these cars in the new Classic Cars Mag, sounds like the M3 is the better drive which I found a bit of a surprise. Top Gear and the 928 did put me off a bit but a well looked after one would be nice and a V8! I really like the S3, I do think the S4 looks a bit dull and I couldn't afford an RS6. I saw a stunning black TT with red leather, Awesome body kit, Split rims and it went flying past me down the A3 - very nice! -
Just dreaming with my week off..... Second one down, even cooler than a Shelby GT 500 *Mod edit - Man, that was a long link - Henny* I was thinking about a TVR Chimera 4.0 as these are around 10k and not too bad to maintain compared the 4.5 and 5.0. Porsche 928 S4/GTS 1990 ish Porsche 968 Club Sport Get the Corrado 4x4 and turbo the VR6..... E30 M3 0r 1988 M5 (E38?) Audi TT 225 + RS Body kit so it doesn't look gay!
