  1. various sandpapers working from coarse to fine, then finish off with some G3 compound and metal polish after - not a bad way to go about it
  2. Definitely the AC Cobra with the 427 engine - I did a Project on AC Cars @ Weybridge and a custom made one was being prepared for an American (none of those UK sound restrictions) you could feel the factory rumbling! Only project I ever got an A in! Then it's Guy's R32 After that it's a tie between my friends Dad's TVR Griffith 500 and my VR6 with Milltek and K&N pannel filter! Oooh not leaving out the beast of an Aston Vantage - 1990's I'm sure Ben's will be in there after I've heard it properly running! My Dad's 330 sounds pretty sweet also - Don't think the new M3 sounds that meaty Just remembered hearing a E Type and a Mustang driving past us last weekend towards Goodwood - They sounded very nice!
  3. I think having any car serviced by a specialist is better than a main dealer unless you get the three years free servicing (or similar deal) with a brand new car
  4. Ian Bannings in Guildford - near the station - I know a few people who have used them including my Step Dad and Biggerbighugo. Very good fitters for audio and security
  5. Rust Bucket 20VT - I'm sorry but this is a forum and apparently I can voice my opinion - they actually upset me they are so ugly! Heap of ball crud!!! Maybe they are marginally quicker than a VR in a straight line - so is a pizza delivery bike probably Thats not what a VR is for, a VR is to blast around the country roads and cruize on the motorways, it'll kick alot of arses (in this case rusty fiat ones) around any twisty roads which is the only fun place to drive these days. It makes a proper noise, looks gorgeous and is an infinitely greater piece of machinery then any Fiat. I friggin hate fiat coupe's, they've been axed in the side, some chaved boy racer style petrol cap thing nearly on the roof aaaaaah!!! I'm sorry but they really upset me and I haven't done much at work today and I have taken it out on you, sorry, but I do feel better now, so thank you
  6. Better get a Porsche and move to Belfast then!
  7. Would be cool also if you got some off road tyres and made the ground clearance more - Dakka Rally Corrado!
  8. I've got this one http://www.clubgti.com/forum/forum_post ... 0&get=last Need another one of these cases
  9. You need to get a form with your alarm details on and a note from the installers - atleast I did with mine. My cars last owner was kind enough to attach a photo copied form of this which I had to send in.
  10. Oh god knows what I've got then?
  11. It's just the casing that is cracked - currently been held together with black tape for the last 5 months and no problems but would like a new looking one
  12. You know what they could be laserline? I'm really not 100% sure. When I say key fob I mean the black square plastic part with the two buttons to lock/unlock and set off the alarm - god knows why, it's suppose to be a panic button but I have to get two meters away from it to work... (thingy you wack on the key ring)
  13. I think it's a Scorpion full closure system as standard - I might be wrong though? If anyone know's where to get another key fob from also that would be of use to me (still on topic just about)
  14. Dooooode no....... Hand and arm marks from the grubby BMW technician who was working that morning, what were you thinking VR6?
  15. Very clean and fresh indeed! Nice one!
  16. Phil - no probs mate, figured you guys were hung over, the 4x4 suspension was not put back on either VR6 - I actually didn't know that... Maybe I can work that out for next time! I think Hugo has just added some 3 way onto the Corrado Wales Lovin post!
  17. hehehe pmsl!!! I had to clean my car again after that picture was taken.....
  18. Dam! I just the pictures, really nice feature! That really is some serious time that's gone into this one! No naked ladies lying over the car shots?
  19. Hugo - It's on... at the old's house is Sussex - mobile masts haven't been invented here yet. OK - I couldn't do it, I can't sell it, it's too hard! When I can no longer borrow money and I'm walking in Asda bags for shoes, I will sell! But Not Till Then! Not Like This!
  20. I had to make her feel special this weekend - I think I did! Over to Barons for a free top mount change and a nice clean! Not bad photo's for a novice! I don't want to sell her! I can't do it! So much money, time and effort has gone into making her lovely!
