They should make the driver's one out of something more hard wearing! lol
-
Yes much better with the standard lights, I like the clears but I don't think they suit white personally. I can't go lower, I've got a steep drive and would scrape like a bugger! LOL Yeah mines candy white too, although not all panels match 100%, it's had some bad blow over on a few panels before. I'll get around to sorting it one day! ;)

Thanks Sean, yes I thought the shape looked a bit off. I think I'll check with them if that's a pic of what I'm getting or if that's a generic pic that they're using
-
So pleased you put that photo up. I've got very similar wheels on my white C and had been debating if to paint them silver or not. I can't say that the pic gives me a conclusive answer but at least I have a good comparison now! lol Here's mine (lights are back to standard now)

Evening all! I've found some floor mats on eBay - they look good and I need some as mine are so tatty - but they seem really cheap. I'm not complaining but wanted to see if anyone had bought these already and could vouch for their quality? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370855874583?_trksid=p2060778.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Cheers in advance ;) Andy

No 2 doesn't sound very nice Jim!!

Ouch that doesn't sound nice! I'll keep an eye out for the tell-tales then. I don't think mine has been done but I'll be checking the file of receipts again I think! Cheers for the info ;)

Is there any signs of a matrix about to go? Or does it just go without warning and in style?

Put their reg no on the paper too, or a photo of their car!! lol Seriously though, I'd call the Police about it, they may well be known to them. -

Welcome aboard, looking forward to the pics ;)

Yeah liking the wheel too ;)
-
Got that sorted then, cheers for the info ;)
-
It must be a nice car to track, they handle well enough on the road!
-
Maybe that was the one I saw. I think the driver had a beard if that helps narrow it down? lol
-
lol oh dear! Yes you don't expect them to torque up that much do you! You looked pretty relaxed behind the wheel, have you been racing a long time?
-
Great video and nice driving ;) That was a great tussle with the other C in race 1, nicely passed too. Did you have other cars up your chuff when you were trying to pass him? Shame about the wheel but at least it didn't happen during the race!

Welcome along mate! If yours gets worse, then this may help you as I've had a few issues with mine - http://the-corrado.net/showthread.php?t=88451 This how to may also help generally speaking - http://www.vwgolfmk2.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?f=37&t=25972 It's for the 1.8 KR engine, not our 2.0 9a but there's a lot of similarities you can use, such as checking for vacuum leaks, setting up the metering head flap etc (mine was filthy and way out of adjustment.) Hope that all helps - keep us updated ;)

Black or dark blue one (it was raining hard so not sure!) through Stamford yesterday afternoon. I was in the white one flashing and waving, not sure you saw me! :thumbleft:

That's looking a tad shiny :) I can't make this year sadly but it looks like it will be a lot warmer and drier than last years!

Maybe we're all skint? lol I'd love them if spare cash was there
