never seen one! But would love them myself!
-
I think it's because the rest of the engine is on mounts that allow movement. As the front doesn't allow movement as teh rest of the engine moves it'll create fatigue on the bracket. None of my brackets snapped but actually tore! I guess this is exactly what has happened above!!!!
-
Yup - Thats what kept happening to me when I ran a solid front mount!!! Second time if it want for my strut brace I think my engine would have been a gonna!!
-
My point entirely! Looks awful IMHO that is!!
-
I know what your saying but I've never seen any extended bumper or valance that looks even remotely good on a corrado!
-
I did all of that but still had alot of issues!!!! But then I also have a much heavier right foot than you do!
-
Have you bought rear handles? Without seeing the finished article but understanding the theory as discussed much over the last few weeks, you need to make a threaded rod with a 90deg bend in it. To go through the 2 holes above the handle mech that then sits over the arm that pokes out of the doorcatch mechanism, then its a case of trial and error to get the perfect length to let it lock and operate in a smooth action!

Mr_Rossy If I'm honest I don't know as my bodyshop made it all work!!! As for the venom kit - they don't come with ANY linkages!!!
-
Don't get the ones from Venom - They are a bit of a nightmare to fit. Go buy yourself 2 rear doors from an Audi A6 off ebay (I got the pair for £60!!! ) Then get them cut out and fitted!!!
-
ok then........................ Son of a Beesting, You keep him talking - I'll call the funny farm!!!
-
Thats a WEEK of mopping not just 2 days!!! And it's costing enough!!!!
-
OOOOOOoooooooooooooooooooooooo I'm getting sooooo excited!!!! Went to the bodyshop today and the car is in paint!!!!! They've put on 7 layers of paint!!! It's been in paint for 2 days but they are still waiting for it to go completly off as it's so cold at the moment it's taking a while and they can't start mopping it until it's fully hardened due to the amount of mopping they are going to be doing!!!! But even without mopping it (and they are going to spend a whole week mopping it!) the finish is unbelievable!!! They shine is so deep, it makes it look like there is an inch of paint on it!! And the mods well, in black thye all look so subtle and suited as if it should have always been like it!!! I can't wait to get it back now!!!!! Only about a week to wait and I'll get pics up!!!!!!!
-
mmmm Bit of a contentious issue here but I binned my JMR front mount after it tore 3 mount brackets. I've now got an uprated one from G-werks which isn't expensive and FAR better - especially bearing in mind the torque I'm running!
-
Wouldn't touch Midland VW with a barge pole personally!!! Stealth is closer to you fella - I'd go there!
-
Oooo I love my Canon Corporate Hat! For those wondering - A Canon Rebel DSLR is the Canon 300D (not sure if also the 350D?) SLR camera in the UK

URGENT HELP NEEDED Where do these parts go!!! Maybe ETKA??
Blue_Joe replied to Son of a Beesting's topic in Interior
Sorry Fella! Checked and ETKA only shows the indicator stalks as complete units! -
Thanks for that Jim  - But I bet it costs less to repair than your Corrado will over the years (all my maintenance, tyres etc is included!!!!!) Rather like a diesel unfortunatly!!!!
-
Well after the long debate all that time ago about what to buy............. It FINALLY arrived today. Sorry about the blurry pics, don't knw what happened there, probably just me shaking as it's soo damn cold!!!!
-
The circlip is just an ordinary circlip and can be bought from all good motor factors for a few pence - no need to go scrabbling through a breakers yard!
-
I'm not a fan of either wheel tbh !!! Jsut think they don't really suit the Corrado!
-
KESKINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! MAMS are too bling for a Rado. Keskins suit it PERFECTLY!!!!
-
They are both bonded on and always break. The rear number plate trim is about £40 from VAG. For the underwindscreen trim, why not get a scuttle cover from SWG as they replace that trim and look top dollar!!!
-
All those windows are bonded in! The rear quarters, the seals are part of the window glass so if you wanted to replace the rubbers you have to replace the glass as well!
-
Give you a bell tomorrow mate as going to the garage tomorrow!

I LOVE Eleanor in gone in 60 seconds. My mate built the Charger for Blade 2, as they "lost" the original one! Then he drove it all the way to prague for them to film with it!!!!
