  1. Black does suit it. Although I would have to brush it all the same way. 😂
  2. Definitely a rare one that needs driving. Nice Recaro's in grey, that you don't see everyday. If only I had the money.... and space 😂
  3. A long overdue update. She still sits in the garage gathering dust yet I do occasionally start her. I am still unhappy on the cold running 50% of the time and have ordered a throttle position sensor from VW classic. Her idle isn't smooth. I know they are a lumpy beast but this is quite noticeable although it is probably at about 650rpm. I did finally fit 2 jubilee clips to the rubber inlet tube though 😳
  4. It looks fantastic. There has been a lot of time and effort to get it from what it was to what it is, Great work. I'm sure a lot of Corrado's will have the corrosion hidden away on the lower panel, so it is nice to get it sorted. Will you be putting the stickers back on the slam panel? And NO way are you leaving that dirty bolt on the rad elbow.....😂😂
  5. Super, as I may just try getting a new throttle position sensor. How long is that deal on for?
  6. I am doing my order today but only spending 78 pounds inc. The 12 pounds postage. If anyone wants something just shout up and I will add it on to my order.
  7. Now that is amazing. I am putting one in tomorrow, so hopefully the same 🤞
  8. What engine is yours? Usually when humming the pump is on it's way out, so now that it is silent....... And depending what model you have there is a pump underneath and in the tank You could break the fuel line connection at the engine to see you ger fuel when cranking, just be very careful Good luck
  9. It is £135, but remember that amount even includes whatever the postage mey be...
  10. As far as I am aware it is only the genuine items. I have ordered half a dozen times from them and it has always been Genuine. Still takes about 2 weeks. I just make sure my order sits under the customs tax amount
  11. Looking good, well done in persevering 🤬🤣
  12. That my friend, is one gorgeous looking motor. What a great upgrade. It looks in amazing condition and I am sure you will put your own stamp on it in someway. Have fun enjoying her. She needs a name too 😊👍
  13. It does look soooo nice new and shiny 👍
  14. Always nice to get a little further with your investigations, so well done and thanks for sharing. Sounds like it's time to uncover your alarm/immobliser. I'm going to check my battery voltage, but that sounds slightly low on the voltage scale after just switching off Good luck in having got this far 👍
  15. Is there a relay Involved somewhere in this circuit?
  16. That is bloody impressive, well done 👍
  17. Time to get in your van, drive over and smash someone face in. Get your money back or bring him back here and bury him in good old blighty 👊👊
  18. Rumour has it mate, black magic is on the way out..... I hope the VSR is going to be your coffee table Don't do it.....
  19. Oooo now Crashers motor does look the one to have. But this on ebay may be more your colour https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/175421688503?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=_52M7-q6RhC&sssrc=2349624&ssuid=SuQ1hX6ZSQa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  20. If original tie rods then only 1 side is adjustable. Most seem to be both adjustable now. Just the outer tie rod should be loosened off its locknut and adjusted to the correct positioning on the bar
  21. On my golf the inner fits up to a measured distance of the rack then is locked in place by the nut. Adjustment is made by the outer tie rod only. The ball joint allows for the flexing movement of the suspension. Any movement of this would need the locknut backing up to it. Although mine is an early one. I understand that if someone turning this they would be unscrewing it fitting onto the rack. Out of curiosity I need to check the Corrado Bentley now. Must be so nice not having the rattle
  22. Glad you are enjoying it again. I am in the process of building up my mk2 golf steering rack and had in the back of my mind about your twisted boots. Surely this should never happen as the inner tie rods sit up against a locking nut and only the outer tie rod end should be adjustable. A very poor job by someone turning all of it. Well done in persevering 👍
  23. We will post up what we find. BlackBerry it is 👌
  24. Well we can happily help you as we are all poking our noses around. What boxes does it need to tick?
