Do you only get the smell when reversing? I'm thinking it could be the rear brake calipers seizing on, as they can smell pretty horrid too, and you'd get he semll when reversing....maybe... -

Are they the Ferodo ones that aren't the coolest or the hottest? If so I had some of them. Best brake pads I've ever used!!

Who did the welding on you manifold dude? Quality of the weld looks superb. Still trying to find someone to marry a 20v inlet up to a 16v manfold flange....

Hmmm, I'm in for a nightmare then! Wheels, brakes off the car and even with the wheels on, there is no weight up front as there is no engine. Steve, I think you're right, I need air! Anyone local who has an impact wrench?

Just trying to get the hubs off my breaker and the 30mm(?) nut that holds the CV joint is being a complete bee-atch! Anybody have any pointers? Will I need some sort of impact wrench? And does the thread go the opposite way to what you expect?

Not sure mate to be honest. The Raceland one for the 9A is shorter to accomodate the CAT.

Are we talking 9A valver or KR? I'm guessing 9A as I bought a stainless manifold for mine and it didn't fit! A mate of mine has just bought a Raceland one for his 2.0l valver, and that fitted fine, not sure where he got it from though, but I think they are available on fleabay. Worth a look...
