hi mate, i have done the k&n/BMC filters. so save the £160 that a BMC would cost you, put it towards a charger. you wont regret it  you can get them 2nd hand for about £1500 if ya give me about a week, i may be getting a second hand magnex for a good price, about £150. but if you want it?? i will give the guy your details. where abouts are ya?? karl

please dont take the P too much guys  on a set of wheels i had years ago, after i cleaned the unpolished lip, i sprayed some hair spray on them (was told this by a guy who worked for merc) and it did work, for about 2 weeks no dirt etc etc stuck to the lip.

ok kev, i will let everyone know how i get on when all is fitted/mapped. just deciding if i should go 12psi?? or 15psi?? is it worth the extra 3psi as i will need head bolts etc etc. there is a place near me that does Spal fans at a good price. but the guy is telling me the Kenlowe fans he sells are cheaper, and due to the fan pattern are more efficient, and more air is produced by them. so will pop over when i get all the stuff ready.

i used vinegar to clean where the tax disc was gonna go, then used clear silicone to stick it on with (only a few little bits where the allen key bolts are) takes about 5 minutes to get it off every year..

KADVR6 replied to JIMMI's topic in Members Gallery
you have been very very busy mate, and it all looks like a very high level of work, just done forget to put the brakes on before you take the car out again, how easy was it to fit the TT seats then?? karl -
yes its a crap picture, getting new camera in 6 days from santa :D at the moment it looks a bit messy, just gonna get a really sharp stanley blade on it when i'm next off work, but it has stopped the windows from misting up 100%. what was really scary was the water was getting under the 3 pieces of plastic and drenching the ECU. karl

im pretty sure that the only way to find out if it is the matrix is to by-pass it in the engine bay. if after by-passing the matrix, and your not loosing water/wet carpets, it will be the matrix.
