No, managed to pick up an intact one. It was pretty dirty, but that enzyme cleaner stuff did a cracking job of cleaning it up! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Got everything done and cleaned up a treat - thanks for all the help! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Just a little update and photo. The autosmart stuff worked a treat and after a couple hours graft the bonnet was clean of the adhesive! Got the rust spots rubbed down, treated and painted. Now all good :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks, if it's Miltek then I might have just got a right bargain! Full exhaust for £100 and its in lovely condition. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I just bought a stainless exhaust (used) and wondered if anyone can tell me a make? It has a part number on the box MSVW323 and MSVW233 - see photo. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ha ha - does it ever stop :) Will leave it for now then. Can't say I'm unhappy with the running of the car - it was just the noisy exhaust that's been nagging. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for all the pointers! Cleaned up the gaskets and the wet one does seem to be oil. Wondering if it's worth doing the head gasket since I have most of the head cleared? Did the head on my mk2 Scirocco a few years back, but not sure how different this would be...

She doesn't loose water and exhaust is pretty good. I could see daylight between the 4 branch and the head around that port - when I was under the car taking the old exhaust out! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks pal, yes I think the 4 branch was poorly fitting. Yes the bottom end is pretty aesthetically poor :) Haven't had the chance to get it cleaned up! Went into VW this morning to order studs and nuts. I have a used stainless exhaust on its way, so all going well, might get her back together next week. Couldn't help notice your use of "wee" - does that imply you are from my neck of the woods? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I was removing everything to put my manifold and down pipe back to stock and found one of the ports wet. Is this something to get sorted as long as access is good or is it nothing to be too worried about? Thanks :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sent info in a message - thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking to go back to standard and loose the 4 branch. Need both manifold and down pipe if you have them :) For an early 1.8 16v... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry, managed to find one off a mk2 golf - all fitted and sorted :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks for the tips! Had the door cards off a couple of weeks ago to check locking mech. Discovered there are no membranes on either door. Just waiting for them to come and will try to get as much done at the same time when cards are off. Is it simple enough to disconnect the lifting mechanism? Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Trying to sort out my windows. Bother were working, but very slow. Now they have both stopped working. What's the options? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking for the support that comes from the fan housing to the radiator cover? I have the cover but no support :( Also need to know where to find the plugs for the top of the radiator that receives the cover screws? Any help appreciated... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Managed to get one pretty locally :) Found a guy breaking one just up the road in Buckie. Not often I get the chance to go salvaging so close to home! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

No, just the sunroof panel part. Have everything out and the headlining has cleaned up beautifully. The sunroof panel adhesive had deteriorated and the fabric was un-salvageable. Did get a replacement earlier, but isn't in that great condition. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Is it in good nic? Thanks for the reply :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Lovely - will listen out :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking for a good condition sunroof headlining panel. Has to have the fabric intact. Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking for the electric window motors - yours any good? Thanks! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Looking for a full exhaust for my 1.8 16v 1990. Got one but is way too loud! Sore head every time I need to go more than 10 miles. Sounds amazing when gunning it, but not my thing! For sale if you like that scene. It's stainless and custom made for the 16v. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Where can I get fabric to recover the sunroof panel? The headlining came up a treat using that "enzyme odour eater" but my sunroof panel needs major attention and will recover that. Anywhere do a close match for fabric? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
