are you sure that chest is £39.99 - is that a local discount as i'm sure you know the link shows the price as £89.99???
-
it would looka mess without the pull-over cover - don't go enlarging hole!!!! just chop the pegs and fit the cartridge without the glass. Once everythings bolted up, fit the glass - no probs and fits snug
-
never had a problem, marc - you can get more play by cutting off the locating pegs
-
might try and get chrisvrnos down and see if we can blow away a few liners with 2 charged vr's :)
-
its not just there for the scenic outlook, GIX :) - yes, its fully functioning and if anything, better, cos the mechanism if beefed up in these roofs on the sliders that normally snap on the corrado
-
i don't like that magnatec stuff - is the the 5-40 grade? thins out and engine gets chattery. My local motor factor store does the vauxhall (spit!) semi synth -exactly the same spec as vw synta - for £7.95 - absolute bargain!!!! and me and chris/nosky/vortech/ whatthef&*kishisnametoadyidon'tknow have used it for 3-4 years - great value.

received this from the guy who bought http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=26512 "Hi Paul, Just to let you know I got back OK, Excellent trip...what a nice motor you have sold me.....my eternal gratitude.... will keep in touch......maybe even meet up at a Corrado meet ? Mike" Aren't some people really nice :) or maybe i was too nice selling a lurvely car so cheap
-
the "little wedgies" i'm sure are in passats etc so i spose oyu can just cut holes in your trim and fit a matching set of handles from a passat -GAWD - i've started a craze!!!!!
-
i've got 3-4 but not the trims :( but i'm alright, Jack :)
-
its cool........silly little thing but definately good
-
Remind me to buy you some smarties when we meet next :) The blue vr6 i've just sold for some reason came with what i can only presume was a LHD trim so I pinched it for mine and fitted a corrado handle for the drivers side - i like it!!!!! :) Helps lift you up so not to damage your bolsters when getting out. IIRC, the one i have fitted is from the passat estate.
-
pics - (tube of smarties for the first person to notice the other mod :) - quiet, Chris  )
-
or vento's or toledo's - i've fitted 'em all - some are more curved than others but nothing that looks untoward - in fact the one i have currently looks fine - so fine, i' going to take some pics now......:)
-
it stronger and more robust and doesn't snap like the corrado one - haven;t tried swapping parts as yet cos i prefer the glass one so see no need to repair the corrado one but having pulled many apart i would be surprised if you couldnt repair a corrado one with bits from the passat
-
get a glass sunroof out of a passat or toledo - i get them for £20 inc motor and everything and they go straight in - practice removing from a scrapper first :)
-
are they new red ones - Beru? dinkus? - throw in the sunvisor and i'll have both ;) give me a call to work out a deal if you want. 07830 451901

what do you use to cx the colour - i want to cx mine to blue
-
what am i supposed to be looking at here? sorry for being dumb....
-
3135 was based on 83.5's - like i say, depends what turns up.... - i would claim 3.3 at 3248cc - bit of a cheeky round-up but what the hell!!!
-
lightened balanced billet crank revs very well, thanks...........
-
can't remember the exact figures but with the ABT crank sat in the garage up here, as nosky puts it, it aint far off 3.1 displacement. With a rebore its heading toward 3.2 ish - depends what rebore and pistons are available... 3135 with 83.5mm Dazzyvr - whats the pistions you've been quoted - 83.5mm forged?????
-
without without without
-
phatvr's your man on this i think
-
what a nutter!!!!! Did you see the rolling stunt??!!!
