i made the choice not to get a toothed belt after reading of people having so many adverse issues from them. were you getting a lot of belt slip before? i only had my g60 up to 203bhp and 197lbs/ft but had no slip from what i recall. after reading the above - i think after changing the charger twice and an engine rebuild - i'd be tempted to fit a 1.8t - especially if i didn't have complete faith in the charger/mods around the charger.

think dec on here had/has them and they fit - but only just.

search for baffled sump on here - youll find the thread that has the r32 sump discussion as john says - its shaped differently - and will actually sit above the subframe - so hitting it would be extremely unfortunate. the main draw to it though is the fact its baffled. i've fitted it and had no problems - its a good mod.

collected a set of RS Turbo Recaros up today - £48 :) Thanks for the help guys. Who is the most reputable for restitching? Heard of MJ Interiors and Snappy Gaitors - but unsure of the quality of the latter. I've seen some of MJ's work - while the stiching is great I've not been hugely impressed with the quality of the leather used - its not as good as whats on the stock seats. Any opinions, advice or experience on this? Any help again much appreciated :)

@fla - from the 17th till 3rd jan - my partners from ipoh in malaysia so going back to stay there, KL for a few days and Pinang for some more lazing around :) whats your plans there? @junkie - do that give me a bell if youre down here or likewise @nadeem - it has been a while but worth it when its done - am positive youll love the end result. interesting about the arbs - i tried the g60 with the rear first, then the front and rear and preferred the combination fitted. will likely try that out again in the same order. how do you a) find the schrick and b) the diff? not fancy the 3.68 FD? Quality car - great work :)
