Has anyone cut down their 90mm spoiler? - done it
RS VR6 replied to diggerbucket's topic in Exterior
Cutting that 90mm is a sin here in the states! That 90mm is getting harder and harder to come by. People are paying a premium for it here. I've been waiting for months for mine. I ordered myself two spares. -
BMW calls it Laguna Seca. :morning:

Trade with someone in the US. :usa

The best arch kit for a Corrado? Is one off another Corrado.

I used this Japanese stuff called Dia Wyte, one step...no sanding, buffing required. Just clean the lens and apply 3 thin coats, with time to dry in between. If you want even better results and durability, have a bodyshop spray the lights with a coating of clear.
-
Wow! A bodyshop would have charged alot more to get the paint that clean!

Anybody have pics of this car?
-
Thought it would be cool...I guess... :drinking: We always want whats across the pond. I'm coming across the pond in October to get more stuff I can't get. :salute:

I think your right about the needle. I'm going to plug in my old cluster to double check. The US only goes to 140. Man...this cluster is more trouble than its worth.
-
I'm not concerened about the centigrade. I'm wondering if the temp needle is supposed to be in the same relative place. My temp needle used to NEVER go past half way...but on the UK cluster the needle moes past halfway.

I installed a UK instrument cluster in my car tonight...the speedo and tach seem to work fine...but my coolant temps read higher than normal...same with the oil temp in the MFA. Is the UK cluster calibrated different for celsius?

Like Kev said, the hardest part is getting the brackets around the axle...its hell to do on your back. If you have access to a lift...it will make life a whole lot easier. Also...don't forget to grease the bushings once a year. Use a good lithium type, water resistant grease. They kick azz...you'll notice a difference from the first turn you make!
-
They just don't look right.

An old pic

People fit mk3 ones too.

17x7.5 et 33, Front and rear fenders rolled flat...rears pulled about an inch.

I did the Rally light mod. They fit ok...but I didn't like the look and the pattern on the Rally lens is different also. They are smaller than the factory lights. I eventually just sprung and bought the original ones. Rally Factory VW I much prefer the look of the factory fit and finish. The Rally for me was something very temporary. Same with the blinkers...just pony up the cash and get the VW ones...your not going to beat the quality.

Lol...you don't open the fogs. I used Lamin X on them. Its a yellow adhesive film that goes over the lamps. I didn't modify my headlights to be yellow either. They came that way.

French spec

I bought it off the Mooneyes website two years ago...but it has been discontinued.
-
Lol...you guys want to add them, while we are shaving them off. :salute:

I have the FK's...but as you can see...they fit like ass.
