the window lifter bars are held to the glass by a ball joint type effort if you pull them away from the glass they come apart

my dta was £500 made the wiring loom myself, used all original sensors except map sensor which was 30 quid, mapped it myself good enough to drive and got an ex tsr blokey to finish the mapping for 30 quid funk

you have to yank it like hell with all the screws removed most of the retaining clips will break and you will need new ones only pence from vw funk -
its for putting in your clifford alarm valet code(usually printed in your instruction manual) hth funk

the consistency is no difference its mixed exactly the same 2 parts paint 1 part thinners or water or on some occasions 50/50 and any base coat is not a 2 pack pruduct as it contains no hardener funk

it really makes no difference as the water based paint is only base coat colour,it still needs 2 pack clear laquer over the top the same as a solvent based product,might be worth noteing though water based paint is almost twice as deer per litre funk

doesnt look like the paint was blended in to the quarters though,looks a different colour in the pics funk

you would be surprised at what the insurance accesors let go.as long as the car is well looked after and not an inch of the floor with 20 inch wheels and a max power sticker you would probaly be ok in a accident where no one was hurt but i see a lot of claims get refused for illegal tyres and a lot of theft claims refused with undeclare alloys or expensive stereos ive never seen one check and engine beyond the obligatory number check

the 16 v loom unplugs from the fuse box and then just plug in the g60 loom

or it could be as easy as the sunroof internal cover is not fully pushed forwards its has a drain across it and if not pushed home hard enough water comes in through the roof lining

one of the easiest panels to fit really much easier than quarters etc god knows where you would get a new one and you dont really wanna be fitting a second hand roof although i suppose if you could get a complete roof and drill the spot welds out from the underside very carefully it shouldnt be to bad funk

best to get a pro to do it really,even if you did get rid of all the rust aerosol paint will only stop it reoccuring for a couple of weeks funk

no need to remove the intake to fit the injectors,you got it all ok then ?

im in the process of fitting vr6 top mounts on my g60 and realised im going to need more bits than i have(top mounts and bearings) after searching i see i need vr6 spring plates does anybody have the gs&f part number for the bits i need ? many thanks funk

i bought a co potentiometer from vw for £80

my knock sensor was all fraid and looked pretty useless i tried the hammer test and got no response.bought and fitted a new one was no different,tries again with a hammer and still no effect on the timing light so dont assume its broke

putting a complete new roof on is a very easy job i would say fitting metal sheets over a bit dodgy i once wlded a sheet in the sunroof hole of a honda crx filled over the top looked good but cracks came through after a couple of months
