I put a mark 2 golf inlet manifold on my rad and ever since then injector number 2 has always leaked even tho once i changed them over i used new seals, has anybody got a wee tip or something i can do to sort this, its causin it to run a bit shit wen i start it up in the mornin, aftert it warms up its sweet but just wanna get it sorted :D

Coilovers are indeed the boys wen it comes to suspension, ive been for a spin with brian in his beast and the ride is sweet, i dont think my budget can stretch to a set of those serious ones but im lookin at gettin a set of those supersport ones from venom around chrimbo time, Rock on the coilovers 8)

i just got their kits a 55mm drop all round feels tight as fuck bloody amazin, its well humped at the front still sittin a bitty high at thye back but i guess it will take a while for it to bed in. I'll get some pics in soon Ross

mines pretty p*** really about 21.2 potterin around town and then say 26 27 on a long blast. its deffinatley gone down since i put the bigger inlet manifold on. Rossco

try sprayin a bit of lube on the selector part on the box itself(where the cables bolt on to) this is the part that controls the spring to neutral its possible it can be a bit stiff mine is sometimes but you can live with it really Ross

make sure you injectors are sealed properly, if one of the wee wee seals goes it will start and idle like a bag of shit, trust me i know. sort it Ross

eeprom is a type of rom memory its actually a type of cache memory which is extremely non volatile and doesnt need refreshed like most other types of memory, so your problem really shouldnt be their...... unless...... the ee part of eeprom stands for electronicly eraseable so if somehow you managed to give this chip the desired voltage you may have wiped its contents, could be a possibillity i rekon, you never know wi car electrics. good luck loon ross

it sounds like it could be some foreign crap in the fuel system, just an idea bud ross

just want to clarify this as i have already had it confirmed from a reliable source. will the gearbox from a passat fit my corrado, the car i have in mind is a g reg 1.8 passat, i've had a good look at the box and it looks identical but i guess i just wanted to make sure Cheers Ross

hmmmm i hate to be the bearer of bad news but mine was doing the exact same thing and then the other day the diff self destructed, just somethin to check out and troubleshoot, i hope to god thats not what it is ross

i tell ye man when i put the golf manifold on my corrado it just started to guzzle the juice, rekon its worth it tho Ross

that sounds sweet bud was it ok for skippin and the like? if you can find the other cable then its a deal, dont need the mounting brackets Ross

yeh thats the one exactly the same as what i had, i would also need the cable cos the buggers chopped my one up, can you pm me some specs of the changer possibly the model number and a price please cheers Ross

get a mk2 golf inlet manifold its got a 50mm diameter instead of the corrados 42mm and i does make a difference, not too expensive either Ross

i think any passat one would fit, just make sure its box setup looks the same as your corrado one
