Sound like thats where ya leak is, some where in the boot! I would take off the pipe that goes to ya boot (pump side)and block it to check and if ya pump runs fine then you will know! U do know the boot loch has 3 possitions, 1 unlock, 2 (quarter turn) lock with central locking 3 (half turn) lock with key only

Riley sorry about being a bit hard on you, I was trying to help and not just being nasty. I got a brand new shorter belt that I got off Steve PSD if you want it for a few quid, its no good to me as Im running a twin alternator set up.

I would do an ECU reset aswel so that you ECU can reset to the new exhaust.

They all leak and servicing costs are high! Takes about 5-15 mins to get the roof off in the sun.

Dude I would come and look at yours but you are a bit far away. If you are saying it cleared up and all you did was change the ecu, there is only 2 things it can be, 1, the ecu and 2, the wiring loom to the ecu as these are they only things that you have disurbed!

Henny Ive already offered mate. Looks like he wants to do it the hard way and fix everything else first, thing is as he has just worked out, there was f all wrong with his head in the first place so he is just wasting his time and money instead of taking the advise of people who know what they are going on about. But not only the advise but people who are offering to go round and phisicaly help him fix it Sorry Riley but you need to step back and think for a second and stop complaining and feeling sorry for yourself when people like myself want to friggin fix it for you! Rant over!

My help comes free!!!!!!!! Look mate enough people have helped and taught me, I dont mind passing it on, and if I get stuck then I will turn to Darren (G-man) and Gavin (h100vw) once we got a better understanding of whats up. It will turn out to be nothing trust me. The offer is there, I got nothing on most nites this week, and Im free! Coz I dont even drink brews or smoke, a glass of nice cold pop would be nice tho. Chris VR6nos sorry mate but you are going to judge the sound of my exhaust off a vid clip on a camera phone? Do you not think I left it in the garage so it would be noiser :roll: I have respect for you and your work but think you may have embarased yourself a bit with that coment, the exhaust does have a lovely 6 pot tone in real life. The poxy purge nob is so i can is to turn down the piss ant dump valve, as you should know the early sc conversions had serious idle problems, who do you think got it sorted and told NS racing that a dump valve or recirc valve would cure this, and I still have the emails to prove it! And I dont use a recirc as I down want the hot air to be recirc'd! But as for the styling, as you can see by my golf, my tastes are changing and I think the C needs to be toned down a bit, i first did that car in 1998 wen I was a young un! Watch this space but feel free to slag it off until I sort it out! :D

I just pit a couple of recordings of my supercharged vr in my gallery, link in my sig. You can hear a supercharged vr with a loud exhaust pop and bang then the huge release valve, it starts to distort the mic. :twisted:
