I came to the Corrado from a Mk2 8v as well. Loved (and still do seeing as though I sold it to a mate) that car!

Nah no difference other than the scrolling bit - just looks cleaner. :)

Paul mate, have you seen the other thread on this car? Ok so some of the mods are quite well exectued, but some of them are equally ridiculous! Got to admit though that from that picture, it doesn't look too bad though.

Personally, I prefer to have a modded air-box rather than have acone filter sucking in the hot engine air. Just my opinion. Btw, noise from a modded airbox with a K&N panel filter is still superb (and I've also had a Turn2 cold air induction kit on before!)

I've got to say Kev, that my VR doesn't idle all that badly really. Ok, so it's not completely smoth and flat but I wouldn't class it as wild or erratic etc.

No problem matey. Suggest some uprated bulbs as well (Got mine from Ant (Bananaman)). I deliberately did the loom first to see how much that improved things on its own and the bulbs definitely add improvement as well.

I got a loom from H100VW off ebay, although he's now a member of this forum and has posted in this thread. His looms have the added benefit of using two relays. The loom is superbly made as well. Could benefit from oem headlight connectors but this will obviously add to the costs. Depends how handy you are, but you could maybe do this yourself. Installation is easy as pie......route the loom to each headlight and plug and play, so to speak - no cutting of wires etc. 15 - 20 minute job, if that.
