    MFA resetting

    The first one is not intended just for single journeys - it has a timed reset - it resets to zero 2 hours after the car was last used, regardless of how many journeys the car has done. The second is accumulative. Both can be manually reset by holding the position switch in it's extreme left or right position for a couple of seconds.

  5. .. :lol: I added the inlet manifold bit because I've seen a few G60's with a leaky manifiold-head gasket due to loose manifold mounting screws.
  6. funny as doesnt this feed into catchtank when you remove the boost return didnt think a split would cause any problems? Mine is just piped to atmosphere - runs fine & doesn't leak oil either . :shock:
  7. chfs911, Check the condition of your front top shocker mounts - replace if necessary & then get the car "Laser 4 wheel aligned" = end of problem :wink: 4 wheel alignment is not checked at MOT, nor is it corrected when tracking is done. :shock: Your problem will be incorrect camber on 1 or both front wheels.

  9. Your car is sucking air in from somewhere - try the following : 1. Loose inlet manifold - check & tighten if necessary 2. Dirty/damaged "Idle Stabilisation Valve" - clean or replace if necessary 3. Damaged vacuum hose - check condition of all vacuum hoses & replace if necessary

  13. There are 2 or 3 screws on each side of the spoiler then 7 or 8 screws & a steel plate along the front part. Your's is very likely to be bent slightly or have some screws missing. It should straighten okay. Gonna be a case of removing the bumper & having a look to see what can be done. Fetch it to my house one weekend & I'll fix it for you. :wink:
  14. There is a metal bar which runs the full width - between the spoiler & lower front panel. Looks as though yours may be attached to the bumper with this panel either missing or bent. Most Corrados will have had the front bumper messed around with by now & many are not re-secured properly. I have a spare if you need it ?
  15. Front spoiler = snowplough Side skirts = great, where can I buy some ? Rear bumper = :pukeright:
  16. Either you have a broken oil pressure switch, faulty wiring or your oil pump is dead. Find out exactly what is wrong before driving the car. You should be able to bridge the oil pressure switch to check it's functionality.

  24. My G60 has a very similar wire to this - not connected to anything. My suspicion is that it's for a component that's not fitted to your car. Many manufacturers (around the time when Corrado's were built) made 1 engine loom for each engine type. If certain features were not installed on the car, the wires were either cut off or just left alone. Does the connector look like it's ever been attached to anything ?
  25. Sounds like he's used the hammer & screwdriver approach. GS&F sell the correct tool & your local branch should have them in stock. From memory, they're around £7 & come as a pack of 3 different sizes. How knackered is the tube nut that you have ? If necessary - I can fetch a tube nut from my car & lend you the tool to tighten it with. You'll need to send me another tube nut & the tool back in the post though.
