  2. I got a G60 mate, yeah I wasnt saying anything bad, I must admit I been tempted by the 1.8T more than once!! but an engine transplant just seems a bit daunting for me! Best of luck to you and you should start a thread so we can keep track of your progress, its great to see watch a transformation from start to finish!! 8) Where abouts are you based??

  8. Think G-werks do one for the G60, I had heard that there can be problems with cracking but didnt think it was to much of an issue. I may need to new one
  9. Yeah the BBS Rc are good wheels, light to at 17lbs!!! Also keep the OEM look. Think thee two are my fav wheels, although Chrishills wheels are a nice variation on the theme. I take it you needed spacers for your wheels though??
  10. see told you someone would come along and prove me wrong!! Car looks SWEET there Radostormvr6, gotta love those wheels 8)
  11. I would have thought no bigger than 17x7.5. If you have coilovers it makes things easier as well I believe. Sure one of the wheel gurus will confirm or deny this though.....
  12. Me too, good job mate I think it looks brilliant
  13. I had the same thing and I actually was changing all my bits while this thread was being written....SPOOKY!! I had the squeeling noise so replaced idler pulleys, serp belt and the cambelt tensioner (which was making the noise all along). Did my PAS belt as well and crank bolt and found my PAS pump is leaking...more money. so yeah Critical_mass i would say a new tensioner is needed!!
  14. those wheels are MAD!!!, any more pics??
  15. '250hp is more than adequate for the hot hatch market competition in Europe. Here in North America though the R32 Golf would face competition in the form of the Subaru WRX STI and Mitsubishi Evolution which push the 300hp boundries in power.' Of course we done get the Scooby or the Evo over here?!?
  16. http://www.topgear.com/content/news/stories/53/
  17. Im jealous, my G/F JUST 'tolerates' my car obession, cant imagine her helping finance the car! 8) So you going to get some pics up of the new one soon mate?? Sorry for the off topic :D
  18. I heard its best not to time it, in case you crash and the police find the timing device they can say you where racing (timed session) which a normal insurance policy wont cover
