Yeah I know mate, sorry if it came across like i was upset at the comment, not intended! Thats the problem with writing stuff!! I think on the whole we all sensible drivers, its just nice to have that back up if we let it slip. Yeah I like the road angels, except it goes into the cig lighter and I may be deleting that soon. And although it can be hardwired that would leave it on the dash and I think I would come down one morning to a smashed window! The dilema continues.....

Thanks guys, yeah Chrishill I totally agree with you and normally I do, but its that one moment when your speed creeps up that im worried about. Also the profileration of the mobile units in my area is a concern. I heard that they could do you for obstruction, but CPS dont really bother. Still advice taken on board, think a GPS/laser detector is the way forward. Cheers

Ok so we all prob thought about these at least once in our life. And I know that there is the great Road Traffic Bill which will be coming in in the next year and a half to 2 years. The thing is my licence is far from perfect and really dont want to make it any worse. There is one called the Lidtek LE-30 which i like the look of. What do you guys think? http://www.speed-trap-detectors.co.uk/p ... =12&xSec=5 Thing is it aint cheap, am i better off just going with the Origin or something similar (GPS/laser detector)?? Thoughts please

Lovely car mate, never even knew they made one. Ill add my voice to everyone else who is saying.... ITS WORTH MORE THAN THAT!! Nice to see all different types and tastes catered for with in the corrado scene. Whoever buys it tell them about the forum!! :D
-
Oh to have the money for air tools!!
-
Looks good!! Hate to think how many hours went into it!! Still good job, your right to be pleased with it 8)
-
How about the Brembo brake upgrade, they come in red!! Granted a BIT more expensive but have the stopping power to match the looks!
-
Yeah but I like your thinking! Bar getting de-ionsied water (which Im sure some will do!) it sounds like a good idea! Good idea sir :salute:
-
Oh thats cool, that what I used anyway! It started to over heat in a car park so I had to pay the rip off prices in the drinks machine at the car park. £1 for a small bottle!! I had to get a couple just in case! Thanks corradowales Anyway sorry for the hi-jack. Hoepe you get it sorted 64 Split :D
-
Thanks puts my mind at rest anyway. What do you guys do when refilling the whole system? Do you boil the water?? And who you calling Shirly?? ( one of Leslie Nielsen greatest lines!!) :D
-
 just read supercharged post  Maybe using normal water to top up wasnt a good idea!! :(
-
I had this same thing. I did what corradowales said and found out it was slightly below the level. Apparently if the water in the header tank gets a bit low it can set off the warning light. I added some more water and hasnt happened since. I had it happen when I first started the car in the morning as well! Its an easy and cheap fix and probably best place to start. Hope you get it sorted mate

Its the first bit of the ad that get me.... 'Everybody knows you need a turbo to run a dump valve but we still get calls asking us for a dump valve for non-turbo cars! Well heres the answer' the answer is 'YOUR STUPID, go and read what a dump valve is for then ask if you can get one for a N/A 1.1 fiesta!' And the vid sounds like the camera man is making the noise. Can you imagine driving that saxo as your daily driver, your ears would be bleeding if you ever have to do long trips!!

Bahn Brenner do some quite good leads, works out about £70-£80 pounds after shipment. Shipment was pretty quick as well.

Alarm problems suck!! Nothing like having the stress of car not working, not sure whats wrong (but in back of mind knowing it going to cost like everything else with corrado ownership), and having the alarm making sure everybody knows it!! Then you get some clever person shouting 'Oh mate, I think your alarm is going off!!' Sorry to hear about the problem mate, hope it gets fixed soon!!

If you havent got an Oil cooler I would recommend this although this isnt a performance mod, but you will see a drop in oil temps which means longer life for your charger etc (I believe or anyway). Kits are aout £130 An FMIC is a good mod as the standard one get heatsinked very quickly. This lowers temps which means the air is more dense which helps. You want to keep the engine as cool as possble to keep it performing (this is probably the worst def of what an intercooler does but I know nothing so someone else will jump in with better def). I recommend having a read through old posts as intercooler been discussed lots. This costs from couple hundred pounds upwards!! One thing that always comes up is make sure your charger is in best condition it can be. Performance mods wont elongate (spelling) its life. I was looking at a toothed belt drive, although its expensive and not really a performance upgrade it will elimate belt slippage etc. (and it sounds cool!) Service wise a few good people on the forum (JMR, G-Werks etc) will give your car the treatment it deserves. There are a few things you can do your self, oil and filter change, K&N air filter, fuel filter etc. Probably hasnt helped but feels like a wrote a lot anyway!! (quantity not quality!) :D

Unless your with Brentacre I believe!! You after a show cage or a proper race cage??

HAHAHAHAHAHA you been listening in on the conversations with my new girlfriend then PHIL K!!!!! She likes the car but cant understand why I do it, Although she has come over past few weeks to help me wash and wax the car so I cant complain. She even watched Top gear last few weeks as well!! I must be a lucky one!!

Hiya My 91 C G60 has been making squeeling noises for a while now. It had the cambelt done about 20K ago so im pretty happy thats ok. It only really happens on start up and usually disappears after 10-20 minutes of driving. It disppears if I dribble some water onto the bottom of the belt. This leads me to believe it is my idler pulley. Would you agree? I am thinking about replacing the the pulleys with new items for piece of mind and was wondering if anybody new the part numbers for these as local dealer is lost without them!! Does anybody know the prices as well?? As im going to be replacing the old crank pulley bolt as well I am kinda tempted to forget the cost and get a toothed belt drive !!! Thanks

 Sorry was looking for other stuff and saw this and just didnt click it was that old, I saw may in the dates i just thought it was last may!! My apologies!! Although in my defence it is a killer day, all the bosses went for a nice day trip to Alton Towers and left us lackies here with whole new processes and no instructions on how to impliment. Im keeping the forum open as my release! Keeping me sane -
