    you pay peanuts, you get monkeys. But I got a Kenwood KDC-309 in my run about Uno, £99.99, includes free fit! then I got some speakers (Kenwood) for £39.99 I think from Argos and I'm pretty impressed, does me fine anyway.

    I've owned just about all of the great 80's hatches and I ain't a boy racer! it's just that people assume you are because of the car you have. So it is defo the person not the car. Ahh, my 205, great days, LOL. I got stuck behind a rover 25 the other day, bad mistake, it was an sdi aswell!!!

    Don't virgin trains offer some good deals? Yea, the filth is a major issue for me, especially London underground, it's quite fast but really horrible. Don't even bother in the summer. LOL

    I know, people will pay a fair price for the trains if they were on time and they knew what time it would arrive! Don't know how much they cost up there, but if you want a weeks london travel card, zones 1-6, you are looking at about £40 a week! Still a lot less then running a C tho! LOL

    Did like the RTS back in the day, but interior is terrible really and there even more unreliable then Corrado's! LOL, I couldn't go from a 3.2 VR to an RST, no matter how much it was souped up.

    Yea thats another one! or the underground, you would of thought there is a prize of £1,000 by the way some of the people are so desperate to get on a carriage, even if it is rammed full of people, stingking of b.o. LOL

    It's true, these scroungers are knocking out kids like theres no tomorrow! Well I guess, lounging round the house all day, watching day time t.v probably not a lot else to do! And the people on planes, that really pi**es me off! they actually think there lives are so important they have to get up straight away, what the dip shi*s don't realise tho is everyone has to wait for there baggage anyway! haha.

    I really doubt there will be a drop, certainly not by the government, if it does go down 3p, u can bet it will be up atleast 4p by christmas. These people panic buying! eeeww, all there doing is increasing the likelihood of further increases! When I rolled up to BP this morning, I asked some guy in a Berlingo what was going on, he just said "They've only got the dear stuff!" LOL, I don't really see the point of putting the normal stuff in a VR.

    That would be a good thread! "WHATA BETTER, WOMAN OR CORRADO?" LOL, Well, i've had some dogs in my time, some bad cars aswell. Girlfriends do tend to be high maintenance, bit like a corrado really. Trouble is, mine have all been too sensible, they always seem to point out how much you have spent on the C and then the other things you could have done, ie holiday etc.

    check on line dude, there are plenty of places. hmm, your 16v SHOULD run very sweet if it's in good nick, something must be not quite right, a VR is not actually that much worse compared to a 16v, for example, to make the same progress in a 16v, you will have to push it hard, where as in a VR it will be less strain on the engine, and longer geared too. Get the h&r with koni. Have you serviced the car yet? change all the filters, plugss, and other bits, should run better after that.

    I don't like the pre face lift look. hmm, to beat a charged VR, you better have some mentalist G60! Great idea tho, I think I might put the 16v badges on my VR, then watch as some supposed boy race charater tries it, LOL.

    BMW 850i, anyone actually driven one? they look a bit too big and not much fun, theres one for sale in Orpington, think it's going cheap aswell. Maybe just get that new bugatti and see if it can get it up to 1500bhp, LOL, shouldn't be too much probs, what with 16 cylinders and 4 turbos!

    ahh, a 996 TT, boy would I love one of those babies is it DSM who tune them up? 550bhp apparently.

    what condition is the engine in? and what was so bad about it when u got it? Yea, 1.8T would be a good option, check out 2.8 24v V6 tho, they are cheaper second hand, obviously if you are considering an engine conversion, there a re a fair more parts you will have to get in addition to the engine so bare that in mind. put konis with h&r's.

    I love Porsches but way too sensible if it's a money no object car, LOL. That Dodge is awesome, maybe a shelby mustang gt500.

    oh yea of course, I can see you are very tempted to put them on your golf Jim! you could take them off and sell them on ebay before you sell the car ay.

    very nice! do they do them in other sizes? I'm thinking along the lines of a remapped 225TT as my next toy.

    If I had the money I would defo get the mk4, but if cash is important then it will have to be an Ibiza Cupra as they can be had for £5k. So has a remapped 225 got much lag then? Was considering a TT225.

    yea, Ibiza same platform as polo/Fabia. Just be careful with mods, as it does effect resale price a bit. My preference would be to keep it subtle on a mk4, or just about any car comes to think of it.

    OK, don't think I have seen them, I know I like the RS4's tho, slot has them on his C. Think 17s would be a good size to get, but think they do them up to 19/20! LOL. And don't have the cash! thats what credit cards are for! LOL.

    love the rs4's, are they the same as the rs6's? you will be losing a bit of handling/acceleration tho, I guess you could have a compromise between performance/looks, not quite the same IMO tho. Just thought, were you talking about the leon when you said you didn't like the 5 doors? because I was talking about the Ibiza.
