  1. I take it you can feel the dip in acceleration? If not could just be the needle sticking slightly at that point. If the acceleration is struggling I dont get why it would only do it in 2nd?
  2. Who told you vr mounts dont fit on coilovers? Seemed ok on mine and im sure the koni top spring cups will be the same on the g60 coilovers as well.
  3. Just had a thought, is there any sort of quaife type diff that could be used at the rear and would it even be worth it?

  6. yeah, ive been thinking I could do something like that now ive thought about it. Never occured to me earlier as I was more concerned with how I was going to get water in the rad. :scratch:
  7. I know the cable snapping has been covered many times before but I think the problem with mine is a bit different. Where the cable outer attaches to the side of the car the clip has snapped, meaning when I pull the lever the whole thing moves. I can get under the bonnet just now using mole grips but ill need to get it sorted soon. Problem is, I cant see how the clip can be replaced, the remains seem pretty securely attached to the bracket. Anyone know what I need to replace? Also, wheres cheapest for a radiator, mines got a leak. Cheers
  8. Civic type r's only have 190, unless its a jap import then its 220. Nothing in it between them and a vr from my experiences with them.

  10. godskitchen, with the alarm sounding try opening the bonnet, hold the fob near the siren, then hold the button down for about 5-10 seconds.

  12. Did it have 17's on it? I think I seen the same one about 3.30 this morning turning on to Argyle Street.
  13. Dont know about the standard brakes but you can do it with the wheels on with mk4 rear calipers and 288 fronts. Just need to jack the car up a bit to get access.

  16. Twist it anti clockwise, it will eventually go with some effort.
  17. Just to confuse things thats the later style pump and will require the later style fuel gauge sender. Not sure when the pumps changed over so havent got a clue what one yours will have robbo101. The earlier style pump is the same as the one used in the g60.
  18. The pump should only get power for a few seconds when the ignition is turned on, then when cranking. Definately sounds like a dead pump to me.
