Nice one, you bought coulstars then? Looked tidy the few times ive seen it.
-
Ill put my vote in for the schrick, but only because I may be selling mine soon.
-
I remember it getting good reviews when it came out, and iirc, Top Gear dragged it against a M5 and a Merc and the jag won.
-
lol, not much of a special then.
-
... are on a special just now, about £85. Could be a bargain for someone.
-
Them groups are right, no idea why the difference. I thought they were both 15's when I bought my 2.0 16v, if id have known it was a 17 id never have bought it.

£2900  Stealth can fit a VF Stage1 charger for not much more than that.

Since new fuel pump shite starting ARRRRRRRRRRRGGGGHHHHHHHH
Joe M replied to martyjmcfly's topic in Engine Bay
Ive noticed a bit of difference, but I still have the standard chip in and the rolling road shows im only getting about half the gains I should be. :( Will need to wait till its chipped to find out if it was really worth the dosh. -
I got 38mpg on a 400 mile round trip to elgin an back. Think I kept it about 75 most of the way.

Ive had the exact same thing since changing my fuel pump. :( -
Sorry to hear that Henny, is she admitting fault?
-
I think mine was attached to a bracket that supported the back right of the standard inlet manifold. I cant check though as the schrick removed the bracket so its now bolted directly to the manifold.

GTR as above is a 2.6 twin turbo 4wd. Theres also a GTS Turbo that has a 2.5 single turbo and RWD an a hell of a lot less transmission losses, very easy to make extremely quick and can be had for about £7000. I heard a gts-t pretty recently in the car park of my work, sounded kinda like a loud vr with added turbo whistle and dump valve, awesome. Lots of good info here: http://www.skylineowners.com/forum/

I thought classic green was only available as an option on early vr6's and in '95 it was a storm exclusive? :?

You should give Jim a phone and see if he could fit you in for an alignement on the rr day, £47 for ccgb members providing nothings seized. Not too sure but I think a fraction of a degree is measured in minutes, so theres 60 minutes in each degree. The - means the top leans in more than the front (negative camber).
-
I had this on my old 16v and the cause was the ignition amplifier, so it sounds feasible. Cant say ive heard of it happening on a g60 before though.
-
I ran with the standard rear shocks and Konis on the fronts for over a year with no problems, dunno how standard fronts would hold up though.
-
Chrome paint, probably similar to what is used on some alloy wheels.
-
I could be tempted to go for a R32 like this though if I was loaded... http://users.pandora.be/minnekens/verhoeven/Golf.wmv

Id take the Clio 182 and keep the Corrado with the money saved over the golf. 8)

Halfords also sell the locking ones for about a tenner.

what colour should i paint my callipers??
Joe M replied to jedi-knight83's topic in General Car Chat
Who, me?  I got lucky when I got my 288 calipers, they had already been enameled a purple colour not too far from the shade of my car. Thinking of changing them to silver to match the rear mk4 calipers. -
Sounds like the Koni approach, only 1 spring on each of mine.
