Do you have the Ford part no. or will they know what it is? Just found out today that the pipe on mine has completely split off the valve thingy. ***Found It***

Did u give them a call? I was in today and am again more than happy with the work carried out. (Wishbone bushes, bfc.)

If only, we cant find the wire that goes to the pc from the camera. Watched it on the tv (in black and white due to dodgy s-vid wire) and it looks ok. Good to meet everyone as well. 8)

When I first got my vr I wasnt sure about the colour and preffered the Moonlight Blue of my 16v, Twilight Violet has really grown on me now though and I think its definately one of the best colours. :D Heres a pic, not my car but it shows off the colour better than any of mine.
-
Wasnt this only on American vr's?
-
I think it was standard on all vw's after a certain year, my '93 16v didnt have it but my '95 vr6 does. A mates Polo also has the same thing and I think thats a '95, basic spec.

I would say its very possible for the chip to go faulty as my car runs perfect with one key, but if I use my spare it starts then dies straight away. My car did have a replacemnt alarm ecu though so it may be that the key wasnt reprogrammed. In fact, I dont even think the factory fit alarm is the same system as the key immobiliser so it must be faulty.
-
Could be down to the factory immobiliser, dont know too much about it myself but im sure someone else will.

When I was looking at vr6's I also considered the BMW e36 328i as it can be had for not much more than a C vr6, is similar in pace and I fancied a rwd, decided against it as I preffered the C in every way. Also considered an Integra Type R, still wouldnt mind one but it was a bit out of the price range. :( Impreza P1 in a few years maybe.

Wasnt too keen when I seen the first pics, but the gti is growing on me, front bumper sort of tt like and the dash looks a bit like the current Ibiza. What do you lot think?
-
Watching the vid again, theres only about 10 seconds of actual racing, near the end the Corrado doesnt seem to be falling any further back. I wonder what would have happened if the vid was a bit longer.

I wouldnt mind getting this info as well.

Heres my Kamei eyebrow on a debadged grill, I had the stock vr6 grill on it originaly with the spoiler and it fits perfect. :D (Although it looks a bit off in the middle, thats just this pic.)

Thats the abs control unit. Also check that there is no water coming into this area as on my old 16v this happened killing the control unit and causing the pump to kick in intermitantly.
-
Didnt realise they were worth that, I had to remove mine as I got a new battery the other day and the cover doesnt fit, think ill pick it up off my shed floor and give it a clean now.
-
Im pretty sure the abs relay is shared by the windscreen wipers. Do they work ok?
-
Good idea that, never thought of that one. Im pretty sure it runs alongside the main fuel line from the fuel filter, at least it did on my 16v

Dont know the area, but I dont have many problems with my lowered vr6 and the car park entrance going into my work is pretty bad. Were having a meetup next week if ure interested in coming along and checking out some c's. The Quay, 19.30 Wednesday 24/09

Ok, new battery fitted, tests with multimeter done. Started off fine, just over 14v on the reading. Switched a few things on, dropped to about 13.6. I then let the engine warm up fully. Everything on this time, seats, fans, lights, fogs and rear demister, the reading dropped quite a bit to 10.something, I then switched everything back off and looked at the multimeter and it was at about 8 :x . I switched the engine off and started it again and the reading was back up to high 13's. This suggests to me its the regulator on the alternator (hopefully) as the alternator can provide enough juice when it wants to but isnt under heavy load. Does this sound right? dr_mat, My alternator is the 90A as well, but I think it was Valeo, will double check as im now off to perform an ecu reset and check the readings again.

Ive been using Bedrock out in Motherwell recently, highly recommended.

Im surprised at that, braehead is a ripspeed as well so I thought they would be able to get anything. They probably do sell the bulbs but Halfords rip people of on bulbs more than anything else, a bulb went in my mums Almera, they had them for £18 a bulb, I went into my local motor factors and got 2 better phillips ones for £15 Ive heard good things about the following site for ordering bulbs. http://www.autolamps-online.com/index.htm

Halfords, same ones as the mk2 golf, pretty cheap as well.
