  1. Now that I've read my post back it does sound like I bought it, but what I meant is that I'd tried to get hold of the fella but it had already sold so he wasn't answering his phone, I wish it was me that had got hold of it though, it looked like a proper bargain! :)
  2. Nice one Chris, looks pretty tidy! Where have you got it booked for paint mate? I need a bit done on my T4 and my rado also has some lacquer peel and I haven't found anywhere I trust down here yet!
  3. Sweet, I bet that goes pretty well, but it needs lowering and a set of wheels!
  4. It looks exactly like the one i've got and I linked to on here, I'm not sure why its more than double the price though!
  5. Erm, I think we've got crossed wires here :) What I'm saying, is that on my rado I have a pair of Lupo front arms/blades, and on the rear I have a standard rado arm with one of the ebay blades attached. If you have Lupo or TT arms, you'll need to get the correct blades for them, the ones on ebay will not fit the Lupo/TT arms. The cheap ebay blades are just an easy solution to get your rear wiper looking more modern and to match the fronts (if you have Lupo/TT blades)
  6. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/AERO-FLAT-REAR-WI ... 116wt_1165 - as above :)
  7. I had an A reg red 8v years ago, it went like f00k! I loved the thing but IMO they're a backwards step from a Corrado.
  8. As I said in the post above, the cheap aero blades on ebay fit easily and work very well on the rear of a rado, and they match the front lupo/TT ones too!
  9. Sounds like it to me! Just looking at Kevs guage, I noticed these the other day - http://www.swgmotorsport.com/asps/ShowD ... asp?id=227 - shame they don't do one for the rado!
  10. I have one on the rear of my rado and it works fine and matches the lupo fronts, I also have a set on my T4 and they work and look great, I'd be shocked if they fixed poor front wipers on the rado though, as Dave says its the arms that are sh1t3 on rados!

    De-tinting?

I'd be up for swappage mate, i've got a standard set in good nick.
  12. PMSL Ex - has been spurt - drip under pressure. Cheers for that, if your such an expert feel free to answer then! Come on dude he's only winding you up, you did leave yourself wide open to that one I'm sure you'll agree :) Anyway, did you get it running in the end marmite minor?
  13. http://wiki.the-corrado.net/jammed_bonn ... _tips.html - for the bonnet, air temp sensor depends on what car you have, always worth trying the search on here as most information you might need will be on here somewhere :)
  14. Like I said, I'm no expert but all 2.5TDI T4s are fly by wire mate, I fitted cruise control to my AJT this morning.
  15. Im no expert but from the description and looking at what VAGCOM says its looking like you've buggered the pedal position sensor, or nudged it? Dont ask me where it is though! If no-one on here can help it might be worth joining http://www.brick-yard.co.uk for tech info on the T4 there's some knowledgeable people on there, there or http://www.tdiclub.com for engine related problems.
  16. Im with driect line and I pay just under £300 for me and my wife fully comp on the VR6 (30 and 28, cars parked on the road, I live in a little village in the middle of no-where), I'm not sure whether they'd insure a modded Corrado though?
  17. Ah, that'll be why he's had his phone switched off all day  I didn't want to buy it but felt I had to at that price considering its not too far away from me! Its very hard to value cars without seeing them, but from what you're saying I'd say around the £3k-£4k mark, but you've got more idea than us as it's pretty much worth whatever you're willing to pay for it, you're the buyer :)
  18. Is it the one on Pistonheads up for £1500?
  19. You'll find that a 16v or 8v wont save you much on insurance mate, if anything :( I assume you've had a good ring around?
  20. Took mine to fill it up for my missus this afternoon and ended up going for a spin up the coast too, first good day for it for a while! :D
  21. I drove a G60 Corrado with no PAS or supercharger for a few weeks and it was OK on the move, like Kev says it wasn't very easy to park! I wouldn't recommend removing it all together.
  22. It seems like a lot of money for a car with no/a f00ked engine mate? You could find out how to get in touch with VW customer services through their website I would have thought mate :)
