  1. If that's the case, the problem lies with BBSLMREPS.CO.UK , whether the staff member is no longer with them, on holiday etc etc etc doesn't matter. If the problem was left to the people who are actually involved (i.e. BBSLMREPS, and customers that have been left out of pocket) to sort out it would make the situation a lot easier to understand and resolve IMO
  2. I'm not sure of the laws mate, but it doesn't have to be in the middle of the bumper or all the Alfa Romeo models with the plate on the side of the bumper would be illegal! - whether it's allowed to be attached to the bottom of the bumper is another matter.
  3. The forum is in no way connected to this company. As above, can you start a thread in the suppliers section to discuss this, as this thread is for people using the classifieds on here :)

It really does amaze me seeing these incredibly over the top threads of such detailed descriptions and such a huge amount of pics, of such a boring subject - surly even watching paint drying is more interesting that looking at pics of it already dry  Its hard to work out which bit is funnier - the way the threads are written, the pics of people taking pics of paintwork/the amount of pics, or the sheer anal retentiveness of the subject matter  The questions and bum licking on there as well, it's hard to believe that the whole forum isn't an elaborate tongue in cheek joke tbh GET A GIRLFRIEND!!!

Oh my lawd          WTF are these guys on?  Surly there's bigger things to worry about than the amount of microatoms in your paintwork :cuckoo: This pic had me really giggling, these guys need to get themselves a woman in their lives
  6. Lovely, I'd LOVE a silver 8v - just about perfect for me :) Especially with nice low mileage like this - enjoy
  7. G-Wrecks  - it's G-Werks mate, cool typo though  It's down on the south coast, littlehampton I think the place is called. If you put G-Werks into google I expect you'll find their website :)
  8. Sweet, i'll lock this up then 8) For future reference though mate, it's always worth trying the search function 'cos a lot of questions have already been answered on here :)
  9. They may have been £1400 from VW back in the day? - seems bloody expensive. You can pick them up with a fresh service for around £600-£800, but as long as you make sure that whatever G60 you buy has either had a charger service at a reputable place or that you factor £400 on top of the purchase price so that you can have the charger serviced straight away when you buy the car there should be no cause for concern. There's a lot of scaremongering around regarding G60's, usually from people that haven't actually owned one.
  10. That's fantastic, 220 horse powerz from a N/A is pretty good going.
  11. Are you trying to suggest that Kev can't defy the laws of physics? :|
  12. Like I say, I cant say i've ever seen or heard of that happen on a rado, i'm not sure that it's a common problem as such  Definitely worth checking all of these spots though nowadays, as they aren't getting any younger :(
  13. Yeah the front end is prone to stone chips due to its design, cant say ive ever seen or heard of a rado with a rusty filler neck though!
  14. If they're original panels and haven't had accident repair they shouldn't rust. Corrados as a whole are not known for rust tbh, apart from the battery tray and sometimes you'll find a bit under the spoiler - other than that there shouldn't be any really, they were all put together by hand so got a good deal of underseal 8)
  15. The easiest way to solve this, is to take a tape measure with you next time you go to the pub :)
  16. Have a search on here, there's a boost check you can do. Dont get me wrong, im not trying to instil any paranoia - but it's something that needs addressing at some point if the chargers not been serviced.
  17. It depends where you are mate, the only place that is recommended for rebuilds in the UK is G-Werks on the south coast - if you can drive it in, it can be done in a day - otherwise you'll need to take the charger off and send it down to them for which you'd be looking at a week turn-around in my experience - you can set the car up to run without the charger on so you can still get around in it but it's significantly down on power! A standard rebuild is around £400 if I remember correctly, I know it's a fair whack to have to pay out but once it's done you can forget about it again for 40k miles at least :) - if you have no record of it being done then I really do recommend you have it done as soon as you can, G-Laders have a habit of blowing up if they're not looked after properly.
  18. Hi mate, not sure how much you do/don't know but the main two things that you need to make sure has been done recently or have done yourself are: A. Cam belt/tensioner - has it been done within the last 40k? if not i'd be having it done if I was you B. Supercharger Rebuild - It's very important that the charger has been serviced within 40k miles (less if the pulley is smaller) If you have no record of a charger rebuild or it was done more than 40k miles ago then get it sent to G-Werks as quickly as possible! Other than the charger it's pretty much like any other car to maintain, just make sure your oil temp gets to 80deg at least before taking the car much above 3k revs. Have a look here - http://www.the-corrado.net/wiki/index.p ... _Checklist - it might give you a few hints of what to look for, the check list is intended for those going to view rados before they buy but it may help a bit. If you have any specific questions please try using the search - i'm sure 90% of your questions will have been answered before on here somewhere so it's always worth a try  P.S - the thread can stay here as the question is regarding looking after Rado supercharged engines :dorky: :camp:
  19. Not sure if this thread should have NSFW in the title after Corradude's posted that pic
  20. You'll be lucky mate! Carpoid had his shipped over there as they were never sold in Oz, his is probably one of VERY few out there (maybe the only one?)
  21. Eh? :? Lets see some pics of the new one then mate :) I can imagine you've got a fairly large grin on your face after driving an 8v for 6 years - 3rd gear in a VR6 compared to the 8v is a completely different ball game!
