The best tried and tested way of increasing your 0-60 time is to fold the rear seats down HTH -

Agreed, I think the term you're looking for is a 'post whore' Anyhow, locked as requested - the 2nd thread that's had to be locked in a week :? -

Where would you suggest is a better place to try looking for this Corrado owner then? :dorky: And why would a Corrado owner be a member of a MK1 forum and not a Corrado forum?  -

I disagree, unless there's more to the car than I know about - the engine and charger will fetch around £800 as a whole not £1300, and the body panels wouldn't fetch anywhere near £1200! Corrado prices have fallen alot and as a result so have parts. This car should be sold as a whole package, and I personally think you could get close to what you want if you found the right person interested, put it for sale on E38 and you'll have a much better chance, AFAIK Furkz got in the region of £8k for his so you never know! Good luck with selling it anyway mate, and with whatever replaces it.

Solitudes are the standard Storm alloys, these are 'westwoods' which all 8v's and late 16v's came with.

Imagination time: Corrado colour schemes you like
Walesy replied to boost monkey's topic in General Car Chat
Think about the reality of driving around in a 'camo' car though  surly you'd feel like a grade A bell end? The thing I like about the rado is that it's understated, i'm not into being looked at as I drive down the street - that's the last thing I want tbh! If I was going to paint a rado in a non original colour, I think it'd be Bright Blue Metalic, I think it's an awesome colour. -

Hard to say without seeing them  They'll either be original mats, or aftermarket ones  Either way I wouldn't be at all surprised if they're a slightly different colour to the carpets.
-
They could be yeah, as in someone could have had them re-covered in a different colour leather, but they look like standard grey Recaros to me, whether it states it in a book or not, they were available (allthough they're fairly rare) :)
-
What colour are you going for then? looks like it's going to be pretty nice - you should paint it bright blue metalic tbh! awesome colour!

:( Dude, Hate to say we told you so, but unfortunately it's just the risk you take when buying cheap suspension, especially second hand. Buy cheap, buy twice etc :(
-
Spot on, I remember following Trigger driving his S3 up to RKE in St Agnes from Wadebridge, I was driving his his VR6. It's a good 30 mile run with some awesome driving roads, when we'd got to St Aggy I had a blart in his S3 and it was completely dull compared to the VR6 (OBD2), standard S3's are a bit pooh tbh! I've also had a good spirited drive in Simon from RKE's S3 that he re-mapped (they're a Custom Code dealer), its also had a fair bit done to the suspension - needless to say the difference between driving that and a standard S3 is enormous, with a few choice modifications they're a totally different beast, when it comes on boost it's awesome

WTF! - Boy, 7, flips and crashes parents' car
Walesy replied to Supercharged's topic in General Car Chat
WTF are you on about mate?  You keep digging yourself in deeper :salute: Having just seen that you've already had one warning for this EXACT reason, I suggest you read back through the thread slowly and actually think about what you're saying as you're really not making much sense, and there's really no need to get offensive, nobody else is :) If you can't debate a point without getting upset and start throwing insults then it may be best not to get into it in the first place, absolutely no-one is denying you an opinion so i'm not sure where you've got that from
