Anyone know a good place to get a re-con rack?
-
I've got a spare one that should be the correct one for your car, let me know if you need it and it's yours.
-
I would assume that he's an enthusiast, that's why he only sells Corrados   If the car is well priced, and is a nice example, then why the hell would you care who it's being bought from? I really don't get the attitude that all traders are scum tbh, no-one has a problem 'lining other people's pockets' when it comes to any other purchase or service so why should buying a car be any different? :?

Allright Tim! I keep meaning to pop down for a pint but have been soooooo busy i've not found the time :( - Will deffinately have to come down soon though! If you've got £200ish to spend, i'd go for an RS outlet, then get a FMIC when you've got a bit more cash to burn :) Glad she's back on the road anyway.

I had a -2deg outside temp whilst driving through the Pyraneese, twas bloody cold!

47MPG from an 8v raddo, and 150deg in a G60 are two that stick out

'Golf3" ( the bottom pic ) looks fapping lovely for a MK3!

Nice :)

Here's Triggers Dynamat Not my cuppa tea TBH. I've heard that you can buy stuff that's exactly like the original from marine supply shops.
-
As above, does anyone own a rado with this reg? It looks to be either midnight or Aqua blue pearl.
-
LOL Lovely looking car meight.
-
That's hardly often, unless you're using your G60 as a taxi or something! If you do an average of 10K miles a year that's a rebuild every 4 years, and a standard rebuild is £400 not £500 Yep, the interior on the later cars is much nicer IMO, but i've not found 16V's to be more economical than G60's at all, which came as a big suprise.
-
Without doubt, having owned both, i'd say go for a G60.

I lolled.

I was driving triggers VR6 yesterday (M reg , 136K miles) for a while and noticed that the oil didn't go above 96, no matter how hard I tried  - it was pretty warm yesterday and I was driving fairly hard for around 30 mins so was suprised to see it keep so cool. The car hasn't got a mocal fitted. I've had alot of rados and the oil and water temps differ quite dramatiacly. If you're seeing oil temps of 120deg, i'd suggest that some of the cooling parts might need changing.

As above, diesel every time, i've got an Audi 80 Avant TDI at the moment and it's great. They run fine on 50/50 vege oil too :)
-
Yeah I was thinking that, I think the excess is usually £50 - well worth it. Might be worth a go!
-
Yeah, 'tis a pig to have fitted aswell, it took a few hours and alot of swearing when I had mine done, and unless you get the right screen they can be troublesome in the future too.

Does your insurance have windscreen cover?
