there is only one bulb for the heater controls so that seems ok and UK C's never had H/Light adjustment the adjustment wheel on the H/light switch is the instrument panel rheostat(aka dimmer)
-
awww dont be too hard on the poor guy  ..............i bet getting that sort of info in Lithuania must be a nightmare
-
AFAIK the later ones won't fit your C cos of a subtle difference with dashboards etc........so the 95 one wont be any use
-

erm............IIRC the "free" road tax is only for pre-73 cars and is not "rolling".......in that cars when they get to 25 years old now(after 1997/8 ) dont qualify
-
welcome to the forum then  ............think you must be our 1st bulgarian member too  as for the 1.8 16v...........AFAIK it was also widely available in the rest of Europe too......not just UK and Italy......also it might be worth trying it on 95 RON u/l to see if it does actually make a difference to yours.........some pink(detonate) like a pea in a can while others are happy enough with it........just a case of trying to see how yours is affected
-
i would imagine its meant to be 97-98 RON fuel................it might help us help you better if you tell us where-a-bouts u are as petrol is rated differently in certain countries.........for example USA.......of course you'll be a bit unlikely to be threr as the 1.8 16v wasn't officially sold/marketed there
-
.......not just any old leather too..........but recaro's finest  8) 8) 8)
-
......so tom.....u actually pay £5 more than the rest of us UK-based VR owners
-
my only complaint with my AmD chip is that my RR figures aint shot up at all on subsequent RR runs............but then again the car does seem to pull harder up to the rev limiter.........tho must admit i wouldnt pay what they are asking now ......
-
very true........keeps the slugs at bay tho...............but it only appears to be that one bit on C's up here that goes........my numberplate light area is rust free tho  btw.......who said MINE is rusting ......seriously tho mine will hopefully be all nice and rust-free  within the next couple of weeks

if it was esso ultron stuff it is good stuff! esso exxon and mobil merged back in 1999 or 2000 and is know called exxonmobil they are know the same company! That esso ultron is made to the same standard and mobil1 oil! it was made in fawley where i used to work! yip it was the esso ultron..........notihin against the stuff other than the price and poor availability(other than Esso filling stations at £10+ per litre).....afterall if i can get a decent fully-synthetic thats fit enough to be badged under the VW/quantum label for a fair bit cheaper(

variable interminant wipers mod.... costs about 5 euro
vr6storm replied to Hans G60.nl's topic in Engine Bay
AFAIK all Corrado's from 94 and more than likely from 92M/Y had them..........its in the owners manual  ...........its probably the pre-92 models that don't have them from the factory -
........and after following you last night looking well sweet........gonna be sweeter when you get rid of the pea-shooter and get those special wheels u want
-
.......hehehehehe........delivered a hire car to out in the sticks yesterday and had a nice wee squinty at a Crossfire that was parked up.....very very nice looking but could do with a bit of lowering............as for the motoring press the mags ive seen have just panned it for being underpowered

variable interminant wipers mod.... costs about 5 euro
vr6storm replied to Hans G60.nl's topic in Engine Bay
to be fair on Hans........its more than likely a UK market feature   .............and more like a Scottish-market feature going by the amount of rain we have  :-P :-P :-P :-P -
tbh.......i would rather that VW didn't build a Corrado MK2......it makes our ones even more special the fact that VW didnt replace them......i'm all for VW making a coupe(affordable of course  ) but as long as the Corrado name isnt used
-
i quite like the chrysler crossfire........shame its got a relatively feeble engine tho hear there's a turbo or supercharged version coming soon too
-
thanks very much mate :D :D ...........anyway the ride round town at slow speed is obviously going to more harsher than the standard stuff but it comes into its own on the twisties and also dual carriageways where it feels more refined cos of the lack of wallowing/bodyroll etc........anyway as KEV has pointed out its KONI coilovers that i have, and i suppose it is maybe a touch too low but at the same time its not too decked like some other C's i have seen  and yes i had it with the standard (4x4 suspension  :-P ) but my main reason for getting it lowered was cosmetics tbh cos the C especially in VR form looks IMHO a bit silly with that much space under the arches........i only went for the coilover route as like KEV also mentioned if i desire i can raise it up again.......not that its going to be likely tho
-
nice looker btw even with the tin-worm  ............your photo-shop drop looks to be very similar to the real-life drop i have........65mm also on 15 inch wheels tho on BBS solitudes as oppsed to your speedlines 8)
