right as others have pointed out with that registration date it will be a L-plater and is also a complete year before the storm was launched.......also if it says red in the log-book it wont be a mystic blue storm anyway.....as these AFAIK will have blue as the "primary" colour, also cream leather was only available with the classic green storm and of course non-storm VR's and both 8 and 16 valvers  what yours might have is a cream leather storm interior......as biggrim on the forum has that in his black G60 8) or it was maybe supplied with the cream leather interior......does it have the Karmann badge or storm badge on the centre console?????.....if it has the latter and IS April 94 reg'd then its been added...........and before you ask  .....if its got a Karmann badge......its not a special edition   :-P

8) nice colour combo.............looks a real minter  -
congratulations on your choice of motor   ................as for brakes you have several options available to you...........go for the Brembo brake conversion from SEAT.......go for the likes of TAROX or PAGID for a bit cheaper or for much cheapness but well recommended...........Ate Power grooves from Euro-car-parts £28-ish+vat per disc and they look better and seem to have a better feel to them over the the standard VW ones
-
.......a pity most of them have dissolved away to nothing after some rain  :-P :-P
-
AFAIK airbags were NEVER offered on UK-spec Corrados  ..........
-
AFAIK its just the fuel filter beside the wheel
-
or a 83> audi ur-quattro 8) 8) 8) 8) :-P
-
as long as you keep the standard springs and dampers(if they are in decent nick of course)....i can't see it being dropped 40mm would be a selling problem a few years from now......so go for it
-
Lift pump, main pump and pressure accumulator in one unit...so yes, twin pumps. K in theory i suppose you could say it has more than 1 pump......however in practice i think i would be right in saying that......if for instance its the lift pump part of it that goes.....then you have to buy the complete fuel pump unit......might be talking crap but thats the way i understand it to be :?
-
looks a beauty 8) amit........you must be well chuffed
-
not sure myself Kev :? ...........kinda 50/50........ look cool/naff   ......IMO you need at bit of "black" plastic to break up some of the lighter colours like you have Kev
-
really amazes me how some people don't bother changing their fuel filters.......even if you dont have the inclination to DiY it........i had mine done during my annual service in Dec 02 and inc the filter was only charged £20 from VW
-
IIRC its only for plus suspension equipped Golfs that they list for
-
i regulary get VW Driver,VWmotoring and occasionally get PVW or the golf i also regulary get Autocar Classic Cars Classics Retro Classics Practical Classics Classic and Sportscar though must admit did buy February's edition of Fast-Ford..............only for the RS 1600i article........honest
-
AFAIK brian there's only 1 fuel pump on VR's
-
thats more than i paid for my then 38k mile FVWSH'd 1-owner storm 30 months ago from a lexus garage as well
-
yeah i was watching the madness happening there too...........couldn't believe the price it was getting up to   anyway i already posted up about that manual way back in the summer  http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2278

its just to save some "dodger" from passing off their C VR6 as a storm when it ain't.........seriously though........its all for insurance purposes

yip jim is bang on there  but i would be a little bit worried tbh.........its got all this work done yet no proof in the service book :? ........anyway one other thing that i think hasn't been mentioned.........make sure they supply it with a decent warranty(believe me it will need it)......make it a deal-breaker if you have too......bear in mind also that although there are a few white C owners on here that it is the least valuable colour and will be harder to find a buyer for than the metallics.......so ideally you are in a good position for playing hardball  -
sounds like the (lower)cat heatshield as others have pointed out............basically you have 2 options........get it welded......or BIN it.......i went for option 2 only last week after it started to do a nice impression of what a cement mixer on acid would sound like ........this was after having had it welded just about every 10 months or so..........AFAIK the (lower)heatshield is really there to save the extreme heat generated by the exhuast cat from setting grass ablaze if you were to park on grass of course........so has no real detrimental effect to the Car when its removed
