they'll more than likely be O/E ones, the late ones are at anyrate
-
latestarter on here has a pug 205GTI but I think its the full-fat 1.9
-
tbh they'll be too narrow for you to achieve the look you want.........as std tyre width for the o/e Sebrings fitted to 1.8 16v's was 185's...........so to get the look you want you'll have to go to 165's which is totally stupid
-
depends how wide your 15''s are

A dealer/specialist stamp mate. Obviously you need to know someone in the trade. Not that I do it. I don't even have a service book! I think the 8th owner lost it ;) even with a "dealer" stamp if its done by a "mate" working at the dealer its not dialouged on VW's system(no invoices to support the service etc) so a potential buyer just has to phone VW and find out that the service history isn't what its claiming it is........I'm lucky with my dealer in that I can ask for one of my mate's friends to do the work as he's a mechanic there as for MOT's then I'm either very lucky..........the 5 MOT's that I've put mine through its never failed yet........had a few advisories which I've sorted but thats it

stamped with what tho???
-
all done n dusted   you should still have a beige sunroof headlining tho and your dash should actually be grey as opposed to black, but as you'll be sorting out the sunroof at some point PM Pau1 as he still has the grey dash/grey sunroof headlining to complete the job..........its a cracking base car too........in fact if I had the inclination/space and free cash i would have kept it and restored it to an as new condition as it drove very well considering its miles(and aside from needing new rear discs)

nope firstly cos there mines all mines lol, and secondly cos there grey leather recaro's! errr fraid yes   I bought that car in November purely for its at the time Beige Recaro's,swapped the seats out with a guy called Paul Allan(Pau1) who put in the grey Recaro interior after I sold it to him,he then sold it on to Andy(gusto).......... gory details all here http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewto ... t=aberdeen

Lets be honest non-franchised stamps or the Dinkus method demonstrates the same thing. But consider this - if you still have your C in 15 years time as you want to own an appreciating classic car which will add more value? All VAG stamps, non-franchised stamps or receipts. There's only one correct answer! But I can understand this point of view has fewer subscribers. I'm with ya there too Bill,in fact I keep my FVWSH up every year, there can't be many Corrado's still getting main dealer serviced annually too I bet

ahhhhh my Biege Recaro donor car

Will Mk2 GTI Koni coilovers fit a Corrado VR6?
vr6storm replied to drunkenmunkey's topic in Drivetrain
they'll be the wrong spring rates.........as they won't have been designed to cope with the extra weight of the VR lump -
coolant temp sensor by the sounds of it
-
sorry to burst yer bubble a bit but no mk1 Golf will be Tax exempt.......as the earliest will be a 1974 a good year over the limit
-
I for one hope they never bring out a "mk2" Corrado.........as it will be a fashion statement in the same vein as the original TT was

vr6storm replied to snattrass's topic in Engine Bay
well how long is a piece of string.........afterall while they are swapping an engine out your as well doing the clutch,so thats another £60-ish in parts for a start, not to mention any other issues there is with the donor engine, regardless of how much service history it has -
