I hardly think our nation of 60million by going green is going to save the planet when China's 1.3 Billion nation are in the middle of a massive car ownership explosion not to mention their power station building phase they are going through

Is it different in Scotland? Down here, all cars pre-2001 when they introduced the new number plate system go on engine capacity. Thats what its been for all the cars i've ever owned be it my MK4 TDI, Saxo and my other Corrado's! no its based on engine size up to 2001,then its emission based,it was IIRC introduced in the March/April 2001 before the number plate shake up back in September 2001

I would imagine to get the best benefits of the schrick is also to have the car re-mapped for it,I notice the torque lower down over the stock manifold but I never drove mine without a re-map...........if I had my time over again I possibly wouldn't go for it,as by the time I had mine bought and fitted it wasn't too much dearer to get the supercharger GB

funnily enough my badge panel appears to need the same bits done my one basically needs complete respray new discs/pads all round new alternator possibly the Torsion beam replaced,tho it might just need adjusted as one side is lower than the other(it had new shocks 3 years ago)

well instead of trying to elicit offers perhaps its worthwhile doing it the proper way and putting a price on it..........if its too cheap or too dear someone will let you know :D its just feeler threads to me are a bit of a peeztake and a way of circumventing forum rules,I'm sure I'm not the only one who thinks this too as an aside...........you got any pics of your 924S and how much restoration did you do to it?...........i've also got a 924S thats needing some work done and want to know likely costs/pitfalls etc
