the Corrado's 2.0 16v IIRC is found also in the Passat 2.0 16v of similar vintage as well as in some Audi 80's(possibly 100's too)...........its not the same engine as found in the mk3 Golf GTI 16v however might be better just to rebuild your existing one if its just needing a top-end

the Boxster has an image problem and this wee problem,as no matter how good the Boxster drives, what would you rather have sitting in the garage?.....a Boxster or a 911........I chose a 911........I looked at a 987 S/Cayman S but at the end of the day the 911 is just a pure Icon

from VW now it is...........back in the late 90's IIRC it was pretty close to £800  Madness! yip I remember paying £84 for a headlight switch in my first month of ownership back in 2001............so I kinda laugh at people baulking at paying £50-ish for one from a stealer now

Sciroccotune IIRC.............as i sold him a 90 mm used one -
Just hope Hertsmere County Council think that's cheap too! The quote does say "estimated" against the parts which come to £740 before tax. tbh and speaking from experience they'll pass it on to their public liability insurers......chances are they will be Zurich Municipal..........who will then make your life difficult......they made it hard for me when I claimed for stone damage caused by a council grass cutter cutting the grass right next to my parked car(the grasscutter didn't have any sort of stone guard so you can imagine the pebbledashing it did),to add insult to injury apart from the local Council being my employer they also suggested that I shouldn't park outside my house
