  1. patience young man.........I was on the hunt for Recaro's from 2003.......even missed out on a set from a German spec C(that now resides in A1 VR6's C albeit retrimmed in Black hide)purely cos the guy selling them couldn't confirm whether the Biscuit colour he described it as being was the same as Beige leather  .....but all good things come to those who wait
  2. Big thanks to Dinkus and also to Cazza for picking up Dinky-boy's K&N filter for me and posting it up
  3. I'd start a new one as its an ex-Press C
  4. if you do go for an E-36 M3............I'd go for the non EVO 3.0L(no double VANOS to balls-up) or even better the E-30 version
  5. jeez 3 pages and no one has a Fruckin clue...........never mind spoilers and colour the most aerodynamic, lightest and fastest Corrado will be the one with the rear seats folded flat :geek: just ask any Corsa driver
  6. yeah but if the car's not garaged and you have too weak a coolant and a frosty night..........its not something I'd like to tempt fate with its only part of the service schedule if you ask VW to specifically change the coolant
  7. check the expansion bottle cap first,as they are known for leaking there, its maybe worth your while draining all the coolant out and refilling it fresh,as its meant to be changed every 2yrs too..........
  8. Hi What does the regulator look like ? Does anybody have a picture. Cheers. pic courtesy of cata............anyway if you look at the uncarded door the bits of aluminium that are peeking thru the holes(the bit that looks like meccano and the long bar at the bottom) thats part of the regulator,it also comes with the motor so costs £200++
  9. G12+ can be used with G11 and G12...........however you can't mix G11 with G12 as it gells up.............VW are your best bet.......GS&F do it too but you'll pay for delivery

    15" steels

thats a name I've not heard in a long long time...........Weller wheels were the wheels you used to be able to buy out of "Clubby"-books.............along with Tomaz m/bikes
  11. think it was only the USA that got the auto option of the G60
  12. sounds like its new regulator time I'm afraid to say..............not cheap from VW either btw
  13. should tell ya here http://www.electronica.ro/service_manua ... /cdx-m670/
  14. as long as they are straight, the tyres are a good make with plenty tread........if someone says mint they should be mint right enough, although it all depends on what you consider mint :?: ,the only way you'll get a showroom finish however is if you buy them brand new.........last time I checked with VW they wanted £160+VAT for ONE BBS solitude..........so I'd say £50 off the original £280 which included delivery did it not??.......is decent enough
  15. if he's got a good reputation from up and down the country,as far up as the North of Scotland and as far south as Cornwall, then sorry but to me thats not bias, thats a good reputation
  16. you not getting G-werks mixed up with a similar sounding place :?: .............as TBH I've never heard of Darren getting criticised for shoddy/poor work

    Which Seats Fit?

Corrado seats and surprisingly a Corrado dash seems to fit well if you are refurbing it...............if you are "modding" it then the worlds your oyster, only limitations are your budget, skill and taste
  18. looks more like the bit of rubber between the scuttle cover and engine bay,so the "wrong" side of the windscreen to the bit you were after?????
  19. IIRC they don't count for totting up after 3 years but you can't remove them from your licence til after 4years

    Poorly VR6

that one is one of the sensors beside the thermostat and I think can be easily buggered when the thermostat and housing is disturbed,my one needed replaced just weeks after my thermostat and housing was replaced
  21. its 99.9% deffo the latch if .............when you turn the key the door pin rises as normal then goes back down straight away, and no matter how much you try pulling it up it doesn't move.............to get the door card off you need to actually "rip" it off the hidden screw(obviously its a damage limitation exercise)
  22. think he's meaning this one http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=50594 but by the looks of it,its been sold
  23. it'll be the latch thats at fault...........I had the same problem earlier this year, you need to get the door card off (which will be fun as there is a screw that is hidden when the door is shut)..........new latch time in any case
