they're more there for the looks as i actually find the standard VW sports seats are more supportive, tho its not a biggie for me as I hardly go anywhere further than 100 miles in one trip in it now  ...........the other thing I like about the Recaro is the headrest kinda matches the shape of the rear bench headrest,so it looks more uniform
-
go for it  :-P
-
ur deffo a Hamster-a-like then
-
my Storm's only previous owner was a woman(i think she still is too  )...she must have enjoyed it too........as she had it for just over 5years
-
its quite a shame tho as the C that donated them was quite a good blank canvas, and I wish I could have justified keeping it,bizarrely enough the C was for sale for a few months and no takers
-
they set me back £100* *had to buy a complete C VR6 with them first at £1900,swapped the seats and sold it on for £1800
-
do it!!!!! I did a cpl of weeks ago and what a difference lookswise!!!..............they should have had them from the off!!
-
as most of those mods are reversable and provided you keep the original bits then it shouldn't make much difference IMHO

I bought my C4(993 flavour) in October 2005 and had put on 3k miles by Xmas :D ..........and rarely used my Storm too.............but there's no way I would sell it..........its deffo nice to have both available, and in the past few months ive started enjoying my Storm again,so I'd hang in there with it  -
speak to a Lawyer is probably the best advice I can give you,as for the transfer of the house to your Dad's partner unless its part of his will stating that this is only on the understanding that it then is bequeathed to you and her daughter on her death then by the sounds of it,you will have more grief to go thru
-
all later VR's had "4x4" suspension
-
I have seen those sort of oil temps on a hard M-way run......tho that was in the middle of summer
-
and the Campaign also comes with different std wheels
-
http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic. ... highlight= std fit speedies are on this
-
well it is.............thinner cylinder walls = weaker/more prone to cooling issues as for the 170k miler, bear in mind that he's covered 50k+ miles in the 3 years of ownership,I'll bet underneath it will be in rude health too
-
its hardly ripping the proverbial out of him tho Roger, afterall surely the main reason for fitting a 6-speeder in a 5speed motor isn't really for better mpg,but better choice of gear ratios etc........if its purely for mpg then save the hassle and use the money set aside for converting it for paying at the pumps,if he's "struggling" to find reasons for keeping it in the first place I can't see how the expensive conversion to 6 speeds will make him keep it.........
-
the ABV is a bit weaker than the AAA VR in the Golf btw as its more prone to cooling issues
-
there's always this peach http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=49877 technically it is under 100k miles(well the new engine is)
-
depends on whether they are Replica's or genuine ones, what style and if the replica's are VR fitment or Porsche fitment
-
How much would you pay please advise?
vr6storm replied to iow_corrado_g60's topic in General Car Chat
its a breaker then...........so no more than £1500(only cos the Schrick will be worth over £500 and the interior another £500) -
what the hell is that????
-
this has to be one of the stupidest queries EVER  .............FFS its a 2.9 V6 engined, near 140mph+ SPORTS coupe that returns early 20's mpg round town.........how frugal are you wanting it to be?????
