think for worse..........a mate of mine has a Golf VR and he's always wanting the Corrado 2nd or 3rd gear as the Golf isn't as useful(well according to him.........anyway he had a C VR before his Golf ya see)

you should have tried GPC first............pretty sure they are under £20 tho + VAT and PnP

ALL UK rhd G60's come with E/S/R,E/W,C/L,E/M............if it doesn't have a sunroof chances are its a 16v converted to 8v G60

get it plugged into VAG-COM Andy...............sounds like its a temp sensor gone,as for the caliper colour I'd go black more subtle get some more pics up tho especially the interior :wink: ..............looking good so far

although its age shouldn't matter........it still counts,most other 2.0 16v's of similar age only seem to have asking prices of £1.5k-£2k-ish too

what age is it? if its 93/94 then I'd say take the money and run,unless you are really attached to it

the whole journey............I reset MFA2 when I do any sort of distance in the C...........most of my journies are normally town-based so obviously I only get early 20's but when I go any sort of distance and am just doing between 70 and 80mph I see 33-35mpg

last Corrado would have been made Jul/Aug 95...........there's a national German holiday in August IIRC and new model years start from Aug/Sep onwards car wise over there

But in fairness (and without wanting to set off the G60 vs VR6 debate all over again!) The G60 does seem to be holding it's value much better than VR6's now, perhaps due to them being more of a rareity than the VR! I would say about the £3K mark or just a touch under due to the lack of supercharger refurb recently. i hear what your saying,but also without wanting to set off the VR v G60 debate,the VR6 will always be the one that is classed as atypical one to have :wink:

might be worthwhile checking the ABS ecu connections(pass side kick panel)...........

i would say £3k at the very most......£2.5k would be more realistic.....the interior and silver paintwork help offset the miles a fair bit...........but having said that I bought a 94L VR6 with beige leather Recaro's in November for under £2k...........so be prepared to wait and/or lower your sights pricewise

might be some differences tho as its a VR6 and you have a 16v...............tho when mine went i just put it into VW and came out with a bill of £80-ish all inc............of which £20+ was parts/sundries

think i was charged £5-ish when I ordered mine back in September..........delivered damn quickly too

BBS RX's always look good on a C...........looks like a factory fitment too

not 100% sure it fits the early dash cubby hole tho.............might be worthwhile checking if it does or not
