Highly unlikely as the Scirocco has a Mk1 Golf floor pan.

Koni Suspension - 16v Golf and Possibly 16v Corrado
Rustynuts replied to 87 Jetta 16v's topic in Parts for Sale
Hi Neal, I know from experience from swapping a coilover kit from a Mk2 Golf to a Corrado, this made the rear of the corrado sit high. I have done it on both a 16v and a G60 and the same thing occurred. Let me have a think, is postage an option at all? -

He has the same advert on ed38 advertised for Mk2 golfs and jettas so that answers that question. -

Are these for a Mk2 Golf? I assume so seeing no mk2 Corrado exists. Also if they are golf then the rear springs will mean a Corrado sits high. Despite that I am interested for my Mk2. Are they adjustable as I can't make out the pictures on my phone. -
But you may get some interest from the Mk2 Golf boys if advertised in the right place

Great news on the fuelling issue. Chargers will drone. That is what they do

If you look on the back of the throttle body you will see 2 vac pipes. One nipple is downwind of the throttle butterfly. The other is upwind. Make sure that the vac pipe that goes to the ecu is pushed onto the downwind side. Also check condition of this pipe and that it is exactly 1m long

Change is good. Nice work.

Anyone got one, probably best in the Midlands as likely to better to collect than post. Looking for a nice standard one with earlier type hangers to go on my Golf. Corrado ones will fit.

What wiring have you swapped? Can you tell us about the conversion you have done other than G60. When i did mine in my Mk2 i only swapped the engine loom and did not touch the rest of the wiring and hence everything worked. Check you earths, perhaps you have knocked or disconnected some of them

How does the car drive, does it feel ok? Have you got bigger valves? I think this is the major influence on reduction of boost pressure.

Bump for price drop, need them out of the way.

Open to reasonable offers before I advertise elsewhere

That looks really nice, but surely the rear springs are wrong? I know they tend to look jacked up as standard but that is almost 4x4 height. Reminds me of when i put Mk2 set coilovers on a Corrado once before adjusting the backs down.

I agree, fuel prices are too high, however I knew this was coming as i keep an eye on the traded fuel prices (Brent Crude). It has been creeping up for a few weeks, however good news is that it dropped in the last week back to a low for 2013, so all being well we will see the prices drop at the pumps shortly. Usually there seems to be a 3-4 week lag, so don't fill up in March if you don't need to and prices should drop back a bit. Sadly i don't think the govt can do anything about the current high taxation of fuel, this is a historical issue brought in by the previous govt. The problem is that the deficit is so huge there is no room to manouvre with taxes right now. Oil companies are the ones to blame, as they are global and have massive power with govts. The traded price does not reflect the true costs of production which must be considerably lower. So a lot is going into the oil companies pockets.

Possibly VR6 performance cams, G60 performance cam. Otherwise let me know what you are thinking as I might just sell stuff on.

Good point, et35 and they 7.5" wide.

I have owned these wheels for nearly 8 years and in that time hardly used them. I always thought I would keep them to go on my Mk2 Golf when it was back on the road, but my thoughts are moving back to keeping that car looking as original as possible now. So these are surplus to requirements. BBS RC wheels seem to be quite rare these days, and as we all know, they suit Corrados really well. At this stage I am only going to advertise them here as I don't want to have to deal with (quoting Prof Brian Cox) a load of nobbers. Tyres wise there are 2 x Yokohamas 215 40 16 with a bit of tread but uneven wear on edges. 1 x Toyo Proxes 205 45 16 that has a small amount of tread but a bit of uneven, and a Uniroyal 205 45 16 that has really good tread. Condition of the wheels is great, I suspect they are still in their factory paint, there are a couple of tiny scuffs as shown. The centres have a bit of corrosion under the laquer, worst shown in photo. I also have some spare centre parts kicking around that I will supply with the wheels. Price: £300 collected from Kidderminster Worcs.

You need to use something like Photobucket and tag the photo , if you use photobucket you can copy the whole lot including the image tags.

Looks clean, but what is going on with the front wheel cambers? They look to be minus by a bit too much to me!
-
I don't have one, i did about 4 years ago though, but it was not the best and I sold it on quickly. OK serious answer, these seem to go in fits and starts, thought before Christmas that there seemed to be quite a lot for sale, now they have dried up a bit (lots of G60s about at the moment it seems). Be patient and the right one will crop up.

Yeah seen that, let me know if it is any good as my VR one is leaking from the plastic end cap where the mount goes in.

Ah, the rad you have is a Golf G60 one, which is different again I think as it is designed to sit behind the factory FMIC. So it is different to a Corrado G60 one, not sure if it is different to the VR6 one though. Pop round and measure my VR one and see if it is the same if you like.
