They look pretty too, mainly an advantage on a modified engine, the stock manifold is designed to flow a certain CFM and a modded engine will flow a far greater CFM hence my statement Chris

Speak to the EIP guys, they are happy to chat away about things, so is Vince. Chris

Depending on the turbo you will have to have an external waste gate if it doesn't have one bolted on as std. The exhaust manifold and pref an intercooler then pipe it up and get a remap that's about it. You would be better off using a P8pro after market management unit as they have better control over fueling etc but they are £850 plus fitting/wiring. Chris

I wouldn'r suggest you go low compression unless using a turbo really. The superchargers are a 'low-blow' unit and won't be sending 20psi like a turbo could to fill the engine so keep it std or close to std C/R Chris

It's all potatoes! Well do you remember the Back to the futureIII film where the floaty car used potato skins to power it, i think it all stems from that with out friend across the pond! Chris -
I keep saying that i need to do mine again, the one i had in the VR i sold Chrishill went to the Corrado carpark in the sky so the one i'm using now is the wooden spoon in porage stick, they can even be srpayed pink for people like Dinkus if needed! ...and Kev, stop being a naughty boy, you know yours is free! I always liked this picture I also believe in 'Ball Lightening' and other things that are wierd, i have an open mind but perpetual free energy has been proven to be undoable sadly. Chris -
I can get the injectors pretty cheap for the red ones, i'll be sticking a few items on my new site which i'm putting together. Chris

You can buy them for motorbikes Chris

It's just a further mod, do it now, or later but you need to plan your engine like i say. There are so many things you can do to mod it that it's an open ended topic that will progress forever, that's why i started a thread 'Tuning the VR6' but it seemed to die quickly which i was surprised about really, thought it would have been a hot thread for a good while, i guess lots of folk like to get things chromed whilst wearing thier flowery frocks rather than getting dirty. Chris

My God saysomestuff, you haven't posted for ages! There is a story about that Lotus and the bike, the guy on the bike is one of the team that developed the tactical persuit vehicle(Lotus) and posed there for a promo shoot. Chris

Plan your mods well and don't jump straight in, if you want to lengthen the stroke you need to get a special proceedure done called 'offset grinding' which will effeeectively give you a longer stroke and more torque at lower revs but you need to make sure you know how far the piston will poke out the top then you have 4 options:- 1/machine the crown down 2/buy shorter rods 3/offset grind the gudgeon pin 4/use an EIP 3mm gasket H8RRA uses the 3mm gasket and it works very well indeed giving 331bhp Chris

I bet all those lights on the roof kill the aerodynamics a bit! Chris

Here's an example of SPECs cameras The cameras have been dubbed "yellow vultures" by English drivers This other variation isn't a speed camera but is an 'Intelligent traffic managment' system Traffic Monitoring System The center's traffic monitoring system consists of thirty two (32) monitors arranged in two 4x4 video walls, and a 100" large screen projector. Seven work stations (4 in the TMC and 3 in the Police Communications Center) can be used to control (pan, tilt, zoom, focus) any of the traffic cameras. This is interesting, we can view the traffic cameras Clicky And how wrong is this???? Clicky Couldn't find the same as you described though Coxy, i shall keep my eyes open for them. ...and in reply to H8RRA's post! Chris

Anybody know anything about Scirocco's? :)

Hard to get a nice one for cheap money now but always liked them, look dated now though i think, not that it would stop me owning a nice one but it's a Corrado before the steroid injections! £500 isn't a lot of money, £1000 is, my mate just sold his for £300 and it had 1 year test and 4month tax Chris -
I think it's the yellow sender on the thermostat manifold( there are 3 together) and this works the dash temp needle IIRC amongst other things, see if you can swap it with someone elses VR sender to eliminate it, just a process of elimination really. Chris
