Sounds like you need to try the VF-engineering mount or VT mount and use the clutch instead of just dumping it and ripping your mounts. Or drive it like a Corrado instead of a Ferrari Vavavoom! Chris

Is this not better? Firepower Chris

I hate to say this but someone remarked recently about putting some real pictures up of propper modding and not gatting a response then commenting that a lot of the people on here are better placed on a Max-Power forum and they'd get a better response if they'd have posted pictures of a chromed radiator cap! I disagreed and supported the folk on here. The pic by mrbeige was a critical mod which has bog all to do with shiny bits and is the core and essence of modding, doing the hard work and work that makes a difference using skill, not sh1t that twinkles in the sun and does p1ss all for anything. The above posts have just got my goat since i was arguing the opposite just lastnight! Good one mrbeige! keep stuck in, that's the stuff modding's made of!!!!!!!! Chris

All this low mileage is twaddle, everyone knows the VR engine isn't ran in and smoothe and loose emough until 150,000miles! So mine's been ran in for only 6000miles :D Chris

Yeah i'll do some though i need a Lambda probe, If i keep mentioning it someone might offer one, i'm just not paying all that for a new one! Chris

The "what I did to my Corrado today" thread...

regardless of what you do, a propper map is needed. I'm going to call in and see Coxy prob at the weekend(Sunday) see if you are around too, I need to see a bit more of these 24v's in C's cos i'm getting the bug :D :D :D The nitrous will do the trick but i suggest you do what i did and get a direct port system with 6 injectors cos the VR manifols is just too long and doesn't work as well with just the 1 nos injector. Chris -
So will I, but of your car! Chris

And chunky it must feel too! But does it give much more power that the previous VR lump? I'm seriously getting the urge to do a Vortech charged 3.2 24v mota but will leave the 4wd. Chris -
mine too but that's radial spacing, the convo was the shape of the radiused edge that leeds into the hole, someone was bleating on about it but forgot whom! Mine make a noise when i break especially from speed, the sound of all the holes going past the pads if you can imagine. Chris

I'd have one tomorrow! Cool as crispy cakes Chris

Who was it that spoke about sinusoidal holes in discs? Mine hasn't and neither do they above Chris

couldn't be a break thing? on one side making it pull? Chris

It's definately some play somewhere if it's not the tyre balance. You can't easily tell in all cases if the bushes are gone but the steering tie rod is very easy to discover by jacking the front wheels up 1 at a time and grabbing the tyre and seeing how much left to right play there is under light joggling to and frow, other than that, don't go so fast! lol Chris

Supercharged, not sure if you quite need to change it just that offten like as semi-synth oil will last much longer in any engine Chris
-
Pic 1 Pic 2 Pic 3 Somethin like these? Chris

I believe this has had some discussion and all you need will be in the search, 1160 kilos is in my mind for the whole car but blood heavy if you've had to move one in the garage, I'm curious why you want to know, are you planning on changing engines for a lighter one? Chris
-
3 years seems to be about right That's how long since mine and i've just changed stuff now, never went wrong in that time because of no servicing other than oil changes Chris
-
We like pictures, get some jpeg's up on page 1 Chris

Yeah Hennyburger, good point, that'll be next! Chris

My god when was the last time you had fun in your car? I got fade reliably and with Dot4 fluid so had a change and use the 288mm MkIV setup but cross drilled discs and same at the back but in adition to the hles they have grooves, not sure if the rears matter that much but the fronts are impressive and on a shoestring budget too! Always Focal for my money i've got 6" Kevlar items with x-overs and tweeters, the sound is critically crisp and mid bass is impressively clear You weren't the only watcher but i got home as the item ended, i was spitting feathers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Chris -
