I never will be as the CFM isn't high enough at low revs to feed the engine with what it needs, my VR doesn't feel the charger 'til over 3,000rpm at least! Chris P.s. I can do you a goo Nitrous kit which is easier, cheaper & will do what you want!!!

Theory is great but in practice it is often different! My VR is dropped too far and i have to go over speed bumps diagonally and have a mashed exhaust, a dented sump and a damaged splitter at the front! Don't go too far as in reality it is not so practical ! Chris See what I mean?

Opening up standard later-style 3 slat grille?
Chris VR6nos replied to stormseeker's topic in Engine Bay
The later cars seem to have a larger radiator from what i've seen and may have different stat levels and the switches turn the fan on & off at different temps and for different durations. Comparison between my '93 & mates '95 VR6 Chris -
Harra forgot to mention that we had to cut & weld the bracket behind the centre consoul to make it fit but it did take 4 hours or so, out & in. took 3/4 of an hour to find the 2 hidden bolts  Chris Be dedicated and it'll be alright, just don't use a crow bar or a hammer!!!

Yoo-Hoo! We're just hiding out in the shadows :D Thanks Tom but what does the 'S' stand for? LOL I was out and about yesturday and spotted 6 or 7 with mine, I think 5 were in Boldon. Don't you go to spillers? We usually meet up at the Arniston Centre near Durham, James Corrado VR6n.o.s, his mate with a 16V and myself and there's always Paul with his VR6 (not charged yet but wishes) Mine is obviously the fastest and sexiest by far and that's only on 2/3rd throttle :D :D :D  I have a few new pics i'll post of fitting the charger, it's V sexy! Post some pics in members area Muly! Chris VR6 Vortech-charged Nos

The h/light mod makes a huge difference, need to see a bigger pic of fogs to see what you are on about with them, mine is a 93 VR so are these the lights you are on about? Chris

Hi Niko, nice to see you on here mate! Your motor still going well in Funland? I have bonnet lifters on my VR6 and have no trouble, I fitted 1 to start with and that held the VR bonnet in the up position then with 2 fitted it is firmly held and the wind doesn't push it down, these were £19.99 from ECP and were for a Golf MkIII, a good mod as it takes the bonnet up to the stop limit thus opening a good bit higher with no obstruction from prop! Chris

Mike, Have you got Schrick cams? If so which set? lift & duration? Price? Just interested 'cos they do a set of SC cams for superchargers and wa interested in spec & info! Chris

The rear mount has yucky slimey dark brown oily stuff in it, mine squidged out all over & I got a new one from dealers for £26inc vat, now it is shiny :D Chris

they are a bag of s**t, i had a nightmare trying to get one off a friends car the other day, so if you want it to stay on, try superglue, believe me, it works, it'll never rattle again! Chris

I think they look ok. No, the door was undamaged and only put the plates on to deter w*****s from having a go! Chris, with my VR6 back now, but the water falls out the bottom now!

Tsembi, Beautiful colour mate, but hate the 'Sport' on the back as it says nonsense to me, but the Tej is intreguing, what does it mean? Get a pic up of the interior, seats etc. Chris VR6 Only my view, take no notice

2CC, Don't have a close up of them, just have to zoom in using ACDSee. What do you think of the look? Chris VR6

Hi fruit bats! James the VR comes as std with a performance cat, however the benefit you will see is because you use Nitrous, this will produce the same CFM of exhaust gas at mid revs that full revs would produce so when you are getting up to high revs, well you see where I'm coming from don't you? Well yes, it is accepted that removing it will benefit. By the way I sold an aquaintance of yours a Wizard of Nos kit from the shop today! He has a black Citreon Saxo and he asked if you would fit it for him remember? I went through it all and showed him what's what. ;-) Chris VR6
