    Nitrox

Does anyone have info on this nitrogen/oxygen mix? Is it used at dragways? if so what kits or systems use it? Post what you know on this subject as it is a fraction of the price of Nitrous oxide! and i'm trying to find out about it. Thanx Chris
  2. My turn, I run 7x17 with 35mm offset, they catch the outer arches a little but it's fine as mine has the suspension set a bit low and too soft but it's comfortable! Chris
  3. Kev, how much shorter are your fingers now from when you joined? You're going to get RSI in your joints with 1200 posts, you need to get out more! ;-) I bought my for £3400 and it now has 152,000miles on the clock. I was seeing a girl that lives in Leeds for a year and a half, the problem was that I live in Sunderland which is 100miles away. I saw her nearly every weekend! So she made me add around 15,000miles I think, mostly motorway and I ocassionally hit 160mph on the way there and my engine never missed a beat or had a sensor fail or any other componant that I can remember, so I'd say they are a most reliable car for motorway mile crumching or urban commuting not to mention racing the rice boys! Chris

  5. FCUK sake VWPowered, that sounds like me! Live & learn and don't walk over bridges :thumb right: Chris
  6. Money to throw away, ever thought of a supercharger, an induction kit with ceramic coated pipes comes with it free. Chris
  7. Good job Guy's car isn't camera shy! Chris
  8. Right, where's the pics then? Chris
  9. Guy's VR has a lot more up it's sleave than it showed because of the lowered C/R it's running but without having the smaller pulley to fill the cylinders with higher boost. The map he's running in his ECU is the old Z-engineering map which just doesn't cut it when it comes to the particular spec of Guy's engine being at 3.0 litre etc, the pots will be filled with fun very soon, i can promise! Hey Guy, I know you'll read this so get a few posts in mate! I'm impressed to read about the other VR charged C, think it's got the Z-charger on though hasn't it? Interested to know the spec on that. Nice one. Chris
  10. Don't worry Jai, if Kev disses your tip's again i'll stoot him! Chris

  14. Thought it looked the bizz, keeping true to the origional shape but with an up to date flavour. Didn't see the Dexter post. Chris
  15. Andy, no prob mate, however I am interestet as to the origin of said toothed drive systems as mine would really appreciate the reduced tension but you'd need all the pullys involved as well as the belt and as mine is a custom job, is there a company that would offer this kit? Chris
  16. Have any of you seen this before? Looks like a winner if it was made available! Chris
  17. Any guesses on the last words of the Lambo driver? Chris
  18. get a life, there is no measureable power increase, just longer life of involved components! Chris
  19. Golfs are not the fastest things about, that's why we all have Corrados,   Generally a vr6 golf is always slower than a vr6 Corrado! The guy next door to me has a Ferrari Modena and it sounds amazing but goes even better however they are the most impressive at 30mph as that's when you get the apreciative glances! Chris
