Printed Photos of your car in BIG sizes delivered to you.
ZippyVR6 posted a topic in Suppliers Forum
A friend of mine has started a bit of a sideline taking photos of Boats on the solent and offering the owners the print on a nice big pic. He has an A1 sized photo of the River Hamble in the sunset and it is brilliant. I mentioned to him that some of the folks on here might be interested in having nice big juicy prints of their fave images. He will do A4, A3, A1 and the prices dont seem to bad to me. Starting at £20 and then £27 & £35, respectively. Im getting one of me on Castle Coombe to see what the quality is like, so if its ok and there is enough interest then Ill start forwarding orders to him. If you are interested, drop me a PM and we'll take it from there. -
Ha Ha Ha, Nice one Tom. Probably what happens when cheap alloy wheels meet big bricks.

Meybee we should have the Haywire code with each copy of the callander sold. :D

agreed, Its been done before but I use the Tech wax and feel it is far better than stage 3 but it all depends on the prep. Ie what paint cleaner you have used. (I go for the Autoglym deep gloss shine) But with wax, less is more. a bit less than that, seriously even less than that, then a couple of buffs Perfic.

His brakes failed coming into camp corner so turned onto the grass to try and shed some speed. It all went a but FUBAR. :(

Poor Poor Beast For those who were there and those that wernt, there was a very tasty Mk1 which had a bit of an off at the track day the other weekend. I missed it meself but saw the aftermath. Wizz forward to about 3 and a half mins. Crunch.

The new 997 Turbo may be out but there is still an 15 month wait if you order one today. Its a proper monster. and they claim to have fixed all the common issues with em. There is a very slim chance I will be taking one out on a track in a month or so. Only just found this thread, Jay that is a cool looking car but I have no doubt that you will turn it into something very special. look forward to seeing the its progress. Bad Boys Bad Boys what ya gonna do?

Yeah, he adds an extra couple of brake. Phil it was a mad day out. loadsa people and the highlight was a bit of restrained ragging on the track.

Cheers Chris, So the cracking plastic sound could be? seals giving way on the master cylinder? or am i talking out of my ar$e. Im definatly not imagining things the biting point is higher than it was last week.

black diamond Predator pads on black diamond drilled discs. Bout 50 notes for the pads There ok. Honestly not noticed much diference over VAG pads but they have never faded. (yet) although they squeal like bu&&ery not as much as the VAG ones. Black. I like em but am looking to upgrade to 288mm next because generaly the brakes on my VR inspire no confidence.

What sort of sound does the clutch make when self adjusting? Is it like there is an empty water bottle being crushed under the clutch pedal? Because Ive looked and there is no water bottle, but it made a godawfull sound this afternoon when depressing the clutch and now I think the biting point is a little higher up the pedal.

Quickest car you've been in, owned and most interesting....

Funny how this thread comes up today. As part of my induction I have just come back from a half day being thrown by a professional driver in a Cayenne Turbo S, 512 BHP and 0-60 in 5.2, 60-0 in 2.2 and all that from a 2.5 tonne supermachine. I was astounded by the speed and the noise from a monster V8 but the but the thing that realy got me was the Handling, at speed with the suspension stiffened up and automaticly lowered it can be thrown into corners. This thing is amazing. Blind bends (round cones) are no problem. It stays level the tyres scream but you dont car caus you are trying to pull your face off the window. I always reserved judgement thinking the Tourag was the better machine but I have seen the light and it comes from Stuttgart. -
No not yet! I'm not very happy about it as apparently they haven't actually landed in the UK yet!!!! Bearing in mind that they were sent over a week ago by express courier apparently, we are awaiting a call back from JE for an explanation!!!!!! Told you that wasn't funny - think you cursed my delivery fella and I'm holding you personally responsible  :2gunfire: Hmmmmmmm, RUN AWAAAAY Thats bad karma Sam,

Bumpity bump. I am having a coolant problem. My matrix went a couple of weeks ago and now I have a slowly falling coolant problem. over a hundred or so miles the level drops from full to almost empty header tank. Only allerted to this by the coolant level light coming on. I had a new secondry water pump about 11k ago when it went spectacularly, but it looks like it has gone again. This time though it seems to be pissing very slowly. See pic for calcium marks on the hoses and (i think) secondary pump. Does this sound right? or have I got a larger problem on my hands?

Fingers crossed till wednesday then. You dont want that freight plane to fall out of the sky!!!

Tasty. liking th e badge too.

What he said. Im guessing it is RWD caus of the beatle chassis. Thunking about it it would be silly to have a rear engine powering the front wheels would it not?
-
You knows Furks could take you and make you his Biatch. (reckon two packs of the VAG paint and laquer would do it and would be happy to have a go)
