too right walsey! red is a great colour for a rado!!!! especially ones as nice as this...! love the beach pic..!!! really sweet looking car... :) -
my old valver had the exact same symptoms, starting ok then all hell breaking loose, and it was an issue with the lamda probe from when the exhaust had been replaced.... might be worth a try, took the VAG specialist garage I took mine too hours to figure out thats what it was... they tried a new lambda and it was fine!!! good luck!

I get quite wary of passing cyclists on town roads, am always scared I dont give them enough room... Can't speak from a cyclists point of view but I know as a horserider that there are some idiots out there on the roads who won't take 3 seconds to just slow down to pass you or give way in any way!!! last time I had my horse out on the roads I was passed by a 3 series BMW who only slowed slightly and passed so close that the long whip I was carrying actually touched all along the side of the car.... bit scarey!!! :( I do get annoyed however if a cyclist or rider doesn't say thank you either by a smile or a nod or a wave when I have gone out of my way and had to stop or slow right down... I believe that if someone does show some courtesy towards a bike or horse and rider and isn't thanked then the next time they come across one they will just not bother to slow down or whatever... am not saying the driver who had the accident wasn't planning to get out of the cyclists way before he hit the ice but with the amount of accidents involving bikes and horses on the roads each year obviously there are some drivers who still dont like or know how to pass properly... (tho I am sure no one on here is like that!!!.... :) )

apparently this 'Claim for Anything' situation we have is coming to an end... after the 7/7 tube bombings and the grief that the victimes of it had trying to get compensation they were quite rightly, imo, due the Government are bringing it all to an end.... people will no longer be able to claim for tripping over loose paving stones etc... i cant remember how they are deciding what deserves payment and what doesnt tho.... whether they will do enough or not is another story too...
-
ok, ok, ok..... I don't want to sell her... she is too well bahaved!!!! i couldnt return her to standard anyway... i dont have any other wheels, seats, etc, etc... with the market as it is i think your right, not much point... might just sell a lung instead... (or use your money hon....) :) cheers guys....

Cheers Gix... she is lovely... oops, forgot those bits... 161k miles on clock, but had a head rebuild 25k ago when the KR cam was fitted. she has most of her history, serviced at VW until 142k miles then serviced by prev owner who certainly knew his Dubs!!! mot's til March... cant remember tax but there would be some on it....

am just thinking bout it... a Rado aint the most practical car for working with horses with either, little bumpy farm roads and lots of mud n all that... might need to go back to the darkside and buy a Jeep Cherokee again... :( unless i can make lots of pennies and have a Jeep and a rado.... :)

afternoon all.... sorry to be posting this!!! right, need an opinion and i'm sure you lot will help with that.... :) unfortunately I may need to raise some cash quickly to fund a business venture that could be the start of me setting up a business with horses... the only thing I have a of any value I could sell is my C... but I only bought in November and, although I think it was a fair price for the car in its condition, at the time a couple of people said they thought £2300 was quite a lot to pay for a valver, especially the way C prices are at the moment.... and I'm not sure I would actually get my money back as there are VR's out there for a similar price... spec is.. 94 flash red 2ltr 16v Uprated suspension with Eibach anti roll bars and Bonrath mounts, Konigsports at the front and Koni adjustables at the rear, 9x16 Borbet T's alround with Toyo Proxy rubber. Powerflow back box KR cam, car has RR graphs showing 158bhp and 157lb/ft badgeless grill and eybrow spoiler custom front seats with red alcantara centres and 'Corrado' embroidered into them (might have the matching rears soon) G60 brake set up uprated loom and Lupo wipers Kenwood head unit with uprated speakers and components inc speakers on parcel shelf factory Scorpion alarm body work is immaculate bar a few stone chips on the front and at drivers door, car is still bright red, no fading anywhere... and everything works... so what do you think, If i were to sell it I would need a quick sale but does anyone think I'd get my pennies back...???? cheers...

m15 vw its the toyo proxy t1s's that are on mine, in 205/40/16.... very pleased with em.... I have 9x16 Borbrt T's all round. my front wheels do rub more than first thought... I cant get to full lock, and speed bumps etc are a nightmare (tho i am sure thats the same for any lowered C....) the steering when going slow, ie parking, is very heavy.... the car is lowered about 60 mm at the front with no arch mods and 40-45mm at the back, tho the back arches have been cut... the wheels in that auction tho were 7.5's for the front which should give no problems, you prob will have to get back arches pulled/rolled if your planning to go any lower than 40 mm tho with 9's... car will look amazing tho!!! good luck!!! :)

oooooooohhhhhhh...... shiney!!!! they look lush.... and hopefully they will be well worth the hassle youve had this week.... cant wait to see em on the car!!! :)
