    Not Happy

barsteward!!! i hope he's paying for being so stupid.....
  4. nah... mine came with the smaller one.. i had to change it back, it does catch on stuff but its rubber!!! its made to catch and be ok...!!!
  5. get the smaller one and fit it... it's 50mm instead of 90... dont look right tho, practical but not pretty.....
  6. i had always planned to keep my C standard, maybe just with a little drop to make it sit a bit nicer.... until i started looking at pics and reading stuff on here!!! in the end i sold the standard one and bought one which has most of the mods i want to do, all of which i feel enhance the look, feel and performance of the car. to me its only improved it and i wouldnt change them back.... although i would like to go back to a badged grille at some point.... its all personal preferance, if your happy with it the way it is dont change it.... :)
  7. hmmmmm...... well my back shocks and springs will go down further..... :) am looking forward to seeing what the next set of wheels you put on her are Furk'z....!!!
  8. i know i have said it before but i'm gonna say it again.... i love this car! absolutely gorgeous - and even better with the fact it is a daily driver...! as Walsey said proper OEM+ l want mine that low.... :)
  9. this has to be one of the most covered topics on here - try using the search, you'll find many differing opinions on this... 40mm drop is prob your safest bet, although if you have the 50mm chin spoiler you could go down 60-ish without too much hassle - it really depends on your personal preferance.....
  10. cool... totally couldnt make out what they were.... do'h.... very, very nice mate - suits the car to a tee..... :)
  11. right - as those who witnessed my car in the metal today will testify the exterior had cleaned up quite well but.... ....the interior is definately suffering from having to be used as a the daily workhorse...!!! at the moment i have the tack for 4 horses in the C, the boots' not big enough so its all over the seats  and there is enough hay and horse feed been spilt on the floor to feed our beasts for a week...!!! the pics however dont do the smell justice..... horse sweat and leather.... mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm......!!!! :) cant wait to get the Audi with the huge boot and then the C can go for a valet....!!!!!
  12. she is fantastic....!!! got her checked over by the Phirm the other day and they confirmed she's in great condition and she was a bargain..!!! am hoping to sort out insurance cheap enough to have her for weekends, dont think i could cope with having her on the drive but not being able to get in and drive...... sad as it sounds, i love my car.....
  13. That line looks a lot better tha the earlier one of Lauras, IMHO. I thought the black came down too far, sorry Lor 8)[/quote:d7031] lol!!! yeah, i prefer the second one but i was struggling to explain to dave, who done the chop, where the black had to go!!! (might ask him nicely to try it again with a pic of mine on borbets and with less black..... :) )
  14. cheers Phil - thats the one i like.....!!! would love a two-tone paint job like that....
  15. i saw 3 more last week... Wed - grey valver slammed on estorils at the lights outside the bmw dealership in Farnborough. exchanged waves and drove on... took me about 5 min to realise it was my friend Amy (missfairygodmother on here) then just half a mile up the raod on Reading Road another girl driver in a green n reg - think it was a vr - didnt get the chance to wave... on Thurs - went to stealers to pick up bits for daves VR and drove pst a dark blue g reg valver on the road behind the stalers parts dept in Camberly. looked like a sweet C......
  16. yeah - can only echo what's been said. i will happily leave my car there in future for work to be done.... top blokes and some fantastic VW's there being worked on!!! the access road there is a bit 'rough' tho.... think i nearly lost my splitter a few times... plus my C scraped on the tarmac when being taken into the workshop only for Tim to say 'ooooh, thats low, only a few cars weve had here have ever scraped on that....' oops again... anyone from down this way should try em out.... :)
  17. loving the stretch tbh...! and the wheels.... very nice...! i have 215/40-16's on my 9x16s and admittedly i wouldnt go for anymore of a stretch as i wouldnt trust them at speed... they just look like there gonna come pff the rims...! eek! :)
  18. that sucks mate.... :( just get her cleaned up and get shot... then you may return from the darkside to the land of corrado-goodness....!!! :)
  19. she is lovely...!!! well done for not giving in and breaking her! the A's look fab.... nice choice.....

  21. don't even get me started..... :)
  22. http://babelfish.altavista.com/ this is what we use when getting stuff from ebay.de.... although if you ask them most of the sellers can write in english....
  23. u might just be in luck...! clickity click!!! hope this helps...! :)
  24. best place is german ebay as they have stopped making them in 5x100 now apparently...! M14 VW did have a set of 9x16's that she bought from there but they are quite rare, I know she waited a few months to find hers....
